Good reviews

The University of Hartford gives lots of opportunities to get involved on campus since it has a smaller student population. This also benefits your social life, personally I've been able to make friends through all different types of activities and aspects outside of classes. Highly recommend it for students overwhelmed by the idea of a big school.
Overall 4.4
I find that the value of this campus is worth the cost.
Overall 4.3
As an international student this is a great place to be in and learn from. Professors are really understanding and overall there is some problem with food but it is wonderful place.
Overall 4.3
I dont know about everyone else but I am having a good time here. LOL.
Overall 4.3
Love the campus and people. Academics are rigorous, but professors are very helpful.

Decent school, it is how you make it
Overall 4.1
The school is honestly ok. The kids there are cool and the food in commons isn't terrible. They just need to switch it up. The professors however, they need to work on themselves before coming to teach at a college. Some of them are rude and have no sympathy for students, especially the freshmen students.
Overall 4.1
I think some people give it a bad rap because they compare it to larger state funded schools like UCONN and UMASS Amherst, but I am very happy and satisfied attending the University of Hartford. Everyone I know there has a substantial scholarship so don't let the massive price tag it asks for bother you too much.
Overall 4
It is a great University with amazing opportunities. It is a tightknit community, so that will make or break the school for you. Do not burn bridges, it is so small, everyone will know.
Overall 4
Professors are very caring. A lot of choices in the dining hall.

Whatever you do try not to live on campus. There is a system placed on campus that they use to monitor and snoop on students. I've had two "monitors" act up and falsely report me simply because I had no other place to go. These same ones were also recording my voice and sexual situations without permission. This is called stalking and bullying.

College can potentially do things that can create additional obstacles for students. Tuition is high, and in addition to some 'issues' at this school, it can become a rat race. No wonder why there is national debt relief! There are those who are in the way to students' success to move forward and are gatekeepers, not sails.

Whoever wrote Aug 15th review is right. I've been going to this school for years, and every two years there's a tuition increase and other obstacles. The payment system used also issues fat fees on top of this. Things are getting so expensive, and unaffordable, that it's ridiculous that there are resources lacking here compared to a state college.

I'm sorry, if you are going to this school, you aren't learning. You are going to be part of a large business that will scam you away will all kinds of fees. Professors are nice. If you are a professor please don't come here if you aren't going to get paid enough, if you are, you are going to be a part of an unethical group of administrations.

Out of all the people I know who graduated from here, individuals who only got their bachelors have here received the lowest pay, people who transferred out(even to community colleges) got paid more, people who got their masters here got a little more, those who got their masters somewhere else got paid the most. Save your money & go somewhere else

Absolute Garbage!!!!!

I mean, it's pretty horrible, but at least we were ranked safer than Harvard! Right?
Overall 1.1
If you hang around this place long enough, your sanity will erode and you'll question every single life choice you've ever made. Improperly built dorms, rats, disgusting food are just some of the horrors you'll face. Heaven help you in classes outside your major. Rampant corruption pervades every corner of the school. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. AVOID!
Overall 1.2
Avoid at all costs.
Overall 1.3
The overall atmosphere at the school is very poor. The university focuses on basically anything but quality education, and student life. This place feels more like a money laundering scheme than a place of higher education. Poor student life, low quality professors, attempts to create "equality" that end up ostracizing the majority.
