Good reviews
Overall 4.4
Hawaii Community College is a great place to learn. The staff is very helpful. The instructors do help and assist you, yet it depends on who your instructor may be. Otherwise, the atmosphere here is warm and accommodating. The weather here rains most of the time. And there is an affordable bus service that can get you to school and from school.
Overall 4.3
This college is the most unique college that I have ever attended. The people here are friendly, depending on who you know and where to go. But, it depends on either you know your fellow classmates or not. Also, the staff here are very helpful and they do their best to look out for your best interests. The atmosphere here is quite safe!

The couseling department isn't very good. They tend to give a LOT of bad information. The food is very expensive. Classes are excessivly easy, even for a community college.

This is a no-thrills school/campus. Some of HCC's courses are held at the UHH campus, while others are at the Manono campus (the main HCC campus). Most of the faculty and staff are competent, welcoming, and helpful. The appeal of HawCC is the cost. It's ideal for earning your gen.ed. requirements/credits, then transfering out to another campus.
