Overall 5
Great location, beautiful people, good classes and what I was hoping in a school
Overall 5
This school is great, the facilities can be fixed, but they are actively doing just that.
Overall 4.9
The school location is really nice. it's about 15 mins drive to go to Waikiki beach. After a stressful day, I like to go to get some poke bowls and hangout with my friends at the beach. It really feels like a vacation in here and party every weekend. Also, most important part the clubs and professors are awesome. its easy to get behind with school
Overall 4.7
I pass by the campus a lot and I finish school. Not too bad.
Overall 4.6
This campus is so beautiful, it motivates me to attend class. I genuinely enjoy the classrooms and professors and location. The school is easy to get around. There are a lot of opportunities to make friends and the library is a great study tool for me. I live off campus, so I can't give my input on the dorms.
Overall 4.6
Loved going to UH Manoa, would recommend to anyone that wants to live and learn in Hawai'i.
Overall 4.5
Great professors, campus, and community!
Overall 4.5
UHM is really awesome especially for local kids, programs have the same learning and opportunities as other schools, but you dont have to pay $34,000+ a semester. the professors are passionate and knowledgeable on what they are teaching, and genuinely want their students to succeed in the work force and field.

Overall great campus
Bad reviews
Overall 1
Absolute worst institution that I have ever enrolled in. No internet connection in the dorm rooms, unsafe at night, unprofessional professors, etc. Avoid at all costs.
Overall 1
If you care about investing your money in worthwhile education, do not come here. Most professors do not care if you pass or fail and many departments are run down. Campus is not safe at night and parking is horrible. Be prepared to not have a parking pass until you are a senior if you live off campus. Truly a nightmare, please avoid if you can.
Overall 1.1
Do not come here unless it's your only option. They treat students like employees because this is the only state university in Hawaii. They literally will work against you to try to make you fail so that you'll have to retake the classes. They're losing a lot of money and will do anything in order to get more money from students. F'D up place
Overall 1.2
UHM is basically a vacation school, you will not get an education here that will prepare you for a job. The dean doesn't care about students, the math and physics department do not care. The math department is extremely unorganized and sets you up for failure.
Overall 1.3
Run down school with poor professors. Seriously, reconsider. The facilities are extremely old and poorly maintained. They'd rather build new buildings than take care of the old. Prepare for black mold, bugs, no AC in half the buildings. As a transfer student I have been here one year and am already transferring a gain because its that bad.
Overall 1.5
Students are pretty stuck up and not friendly at all. There is a lot of theft that happens on campus and in the student housing. A lot of the buildings are old and need to be rebuilt. Depending on your major there might be any online classes. Also there is no were to eat on campus after 4:30 p.m. except for Starbucks.
Overall 1.7
Hawai'i is great, this school sucks! Awful and would never recommend to anyone who is thinking of coming here.
Overall 1.7
Oh goodness, where to begin? To be in paradise, you must sacrifice everything else, apparently. Very unsafe, horrible meal plans, but the foods not good anyways so who cares? Bad wifi so good luck in your online classes. Known as a 'party school' but college anywhere is what you make it. Pretty campus but everything in it is closed :(
Overall 1.8
From a local student, the education at UH is mediocre. Professor quality is hit or miss, with some only being there for money or prestige. If you have financial support, just go to the mainland. There are more job opportunities. Don't focus on acceptance rates but instead graduation rates. UH has a 60% graduation rate, but I'm sure it's lower.
Overall 1.8
Sinclair needs air conditioning. Libraries doesn’t allow food or drinks unlike Leeward Community College. Wifi connection is strong in certain areas but weak or nonexistent in other spaces. Food and beverages are pricey even vending machines. $5 for a bottle? Really? Some Professors (not all) are overpaid yet lack teaching skills.
