Afforable, great facility, knowlegeable professors.
Overall 4.2
Whether you are a full time student living in the dorms, or a part time student working a full time job with a family, there are opportunities for everyone to succeed. The campus itself is great and new additions are being built on a consistent basis. I really like the campus and find it easy to navigate and love the new buildings/layout.
Overall 4.2
Best school, especially for non-traditional students like me. Campuses in Victoria & Katy, TX & near-whole programs online. Admin is super-helpful, whether registration, financial aid, etc., they all helped so much through the way. Professors are awesome! - knowledgeable, truly care and enjoy what they do. UHV is always growing! Proud Jaguar!!!!!!
Overall 4.2
Good location, nice campus.
Overall 4.1
UHV keeps up with their facilities and updates them often. It’s a really modern and progressive school that has very knowledgeable and helpful faculty and staff. Of course, there’s a few professors that you can tell are just here for a paycheck but majority really care about their students and their success.

Good location, good variety of classes and a helpful staff. There's also quite a few activities to participate in, if you'd like, throughout the year. I like UHV and I am happy to be a student here.
Bad reviews
Overall 0.9
Very unorganized school, stay away.
Overall 1.5
The education program is pretty bad, in my opinion it does nothing to prepare you for the real world. The advising is also pretty bad, they mess up on advising and expect you to fix it. The advising for the school of education is also pretty bad as well. The professors are nice, but the advisers mess up your whole experience there.
Overall 1.8
The school itself is kind of on the outskirts of the town. Its in the neighborhoods and there is not much to do in this city. If you are easily bored this is not the school for you.
Overall 1.8
It's a new and growing school. If you really are not a sports person or a party animal you would love it. The people that attend the school are cool, but the city life is wack! Victoria has a country club and one hip hop club(on Thursday nights).Overall, it's cool its getting better day by day other then the lameness of the school its a good school!
