Never thought I would like it here and came with the intention of transferring, but man did this school win me over.

Love this place. You should go here for sure. Really great atmosphere and fantastic school spirit. Plenty of opportunities to get involved around campus and meet people. Awesome experience overall.

I came here not knowing anyone and met some of my best friends for life. The social aspect is great and downtown life is so fun. School is easy as long as your willing to work, you get out what you put in. Getting involved is definitely worth it!

As a Freshman, I thoroughly enjoyed living in the dorms and I love living off campus now! Great social life if you love going out or not, plenty of academic variety when it comes to clubs and solid professors. Very easy to find great opportunities such as research positions, internships, or jobs at the hospital.

you will be safe because NOTHING good or bad happens in Iowa City

It is very hard to make friends here if you live off of campus. I feel very lonely here and keep to myself. The school won't shut down racist clubs and groups as well as fraternities that assault women. Barbara Wilson only cares about the money and not the safety of the students. Don't walk alone at night. Oh, and they support Isreal ??
