Everything is perfect on the campus EXCEPT Hilltop Child Development Center. My child attended here shortly and it was a terrible experience. I do NOT recommend Hilltop Child Development Center.

I love KU, best decision I have ever made!

I love everything about this school. It has exceeded my expectations in all ways. Lawrence is a hidden gem in Kansas and KU is exactly the college experience I had hoped for.

Love the social and academic life
Overall 4.9
I just completed my first semester at KU. It was a wonderful experience and I'm so glad I chose this school. The sports scene is amazing. Football was a blast and basketball is out of this world. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I have visited other colleges and they don't feel as connected. Best college atmosphere in the midwest!

I love this school, I don't want to be anywhere else. The environment is fabulous, academically and socially. I love the libraries on campus - they're great places to study and work on projects. The dining options on campus have a good variety and don't leave a lot to want from.

KU offers the best support system for International Students
Bad reviews

Engineering Dept is the worst. Only thing worse are the math & phsyics profs, most of which do not speak English. No support for engineering students and profs just pile on the work and expect you to learn everything yourself. Have to teach yourself everything in very difficult courses for 4 years.

good school but they dont teach you
Overall 1.8
Terrible experience I was out of state too so even more money for terrible teachers had to complain about how one my classes was unfairly graded but they brushed it off and kept refusing to meet in person to resolve it even with proof save your money and go to a cheaper school with better teacher
Overall 1.9
KU is a school built for the rich Greek life kids. The people that come here, a lot of them are from Johnson County, a notoriously rich area of Kansas City where they all drive their jeeps and spend their parents money. Greek life is a scam where you will be forced to sign binding contracts before you even get there. Ku's education is subpar.
Overall 2
The people are nasty unless you conform to social standards. Stay away from greek life unless you want to act like a barbie for four years. The only nice people are the religious kids
