I have thoroughly enjoyed being a Psychology major at UMF. I feel like the faculty are very passionate and friendly and eager for students to succeed. It is a small town and a small school, but that's what I love about it personally. Older faculty for sure, but Maine in general is not generally an overly youthful population.

I love the University of Maine at Farmington
Overall 4.1
Great school! Definitely not a big campus, but I think thats why a lot of people love it. If you prefer smaller classes and professors with a more personal feel, this is the perfect school.

UMF is a great place to go. It's highly rated for LGBTQ+ students, and you get a great education. I love the way they have accepted responsibility and continue to make the campus more safe after previous events have happed. You feel like a person, not a number because of the small class sizes and amazing professors.

Great school, love the ECH program

I absolutely love it here. There's not much for the socializing aspect. However, the scenery and buildings are gorgeous. They have an old architectural style that's very charming. The professors really care about their students. Also, the food is awesome. Its very helpful to those who are vegan or dairy-free.

I love UMF!

UMF is such a great school! If you talk to professors and other staff around campus, you will never be bored. There are also so many opportunities that not a lot of people take advantage of! I'm literally almost always busy. The community is very welcoming and many of them have deals for us. It's the perfect college for future educators!
