Good reviews
Overall 4.8
I really liked my time at UMPI. Courses are interesting, profs are fair.
Overall 4.7
UMPI provides a great learning experience. The YourPace degree programs offer challenging yet accessible online classes at an affordable cost. With 8-week terms and a flat fee of $1500 for as many classes as possible, it's a great cost saver. UMPI is great for adult students with on-the-job experience seeking a competency-based degree.
Overall 4.6
University of Maine at Presque Isle as an online student would've been really tough if it wasn't for Ashkir's discord! It brought the online students together. Some professors are really cryptic, but most are amazing
Overall 4.6
Mostly about UMPI's online program YourPace. Staff is excellent. Great and amazing program. Very little social interaction between other students however. Amazing program set up by professors and a staff that understands what a busy adult life is, and they work hard to help us achieve our dreams while not putting our life on pause.
Overall 4.3
I went to UMPI as a CRJ major. I transferred in 90 credits and finished the remaining 30 via the yourpace program. The five electives I took were fantastic, the CRJ classes I took were awful. The CRJ programs needs a rework and to be restructured. A Standard assignment for a CRJ class would be the length of a final in my others. Lessonsweren'tgreat

I think this is a very good school in a great location. I have lived all over the country and this is by far the cleanest and best looking campus I have ever been to.
Bad reviews
Overall 1
Worse academic institution I've ever come across. No academic standard, you will be limited in your successes, and the most unethical institutional practices I have ever had to endure. If you care about you're educational needs at all, do not go here.
Overall 1.5
A dying school with bottom of the barrel resources. Miserable waste of money only good for kids who have no real goals
Overall 2
This town has two colleges and guess which one makes people cringe. You can honestly peg students from campus when they call into my work by how clueless they sound. The campus is small and all classes take place in one building. Its pretty much highschool with less realistic teachers.
