Am in their graduate MBA and MA Philosophy program. Staff very attentive and professors really care so far. This is a hidden gem dual program, online and affordable..

The University of Mary is a wonderful school because of the incredible University President (Monsignor Shea) who understands education to be a training of the mind to think and successfully instills the core pillars of education which are a unity of knowledge, virtuous friendship, the harmony of faith and reason, and freedom.

I absolutely loved my experience at UMary. It deeply transformed my life.
1 am forever grateful. I learned how to have virtuous friendships & the reality of Divine Providence. I enjoyed intramural sports, hanging at the Crow's Nest, mass, & gaining wisdom from professors. It's an incredible place that has the best students, President, & faculty!!!

OMG! This school is so fun, there are so many good professors, and the food is AMAZING! The internet can be under 1mb/s download speed; 500kb/s upload speed, streaming gets you up to half of your time spent buffering, and FORGET browsing TOR!
Overall 4.6
Such a great school to grow in your faith and find community. And of course a great education!

I love UMary! It's a religious school and they have a lot of opportunities for you to get involved in your faith.
There's a lot of bible studies, and every Monday they have a pastor or Christian speaker come and give a talk and then they have praise and worship music.
I think the school could improve by getting more parking spaces for students.
Overall 4.5
This is the place to be formed as a faith-filled, and truth-seeking human being. The faculty care about each of the students and personalize opportunities for you. It's in ND, it's cold and windy, but UMary is on top of the hill with a magnificent view. It's a small university and there isn't much diversity, but that works for some people.
Overall 4.5
Incredible place with high energy! Very authentic! Fosters growth in mind, body an spirit.
Overall 4.4
This school is a hidden gem. The atmosphere promotes academic excellence and drives students toward servant leadership. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the dining services are far better than any other college campus I have visited. I gave a 4 in safety as the weather can be extreme here, but the school is very safe in terms of crime.
Overall 4.2
Started here my freshman year and will graduate here. Absolutely love this place. Very nice and feel like I am getting a top tier education. Professors are great and approachable. Only thing I dont like is the first two years I spent basically retaking highschool classes. Also some students are stuck up but you will find nice people eventually.

If you're looking to be challenged socially and intellectually, this probably isn't the place for you. If you just want to meet other like-minded Catholics, this will be the place for you. Staff and students lack diversity. The non-discrimination policy does not protect it's students. HR is terrible, and so is retention rate of students.
Overall 1.5
Everyone is really nice-truly good people. Classes are poorly taught, and a lot teachers really don't care. Some are amazing and they deserve better. Essentially paying for a diploma. Very easy. They think they are better than they are. There is a saying, "good athletes tell everyone they're good, great athletes are told they are great."
Overall 1.5
The school is 6 miles out of bismarck. Thier is lacking in school spirit and the campus life sucks. Everyone from the state of North Dakota usually goes home for the weekends.

The school isn't awful. The people are generally pretty nice and the teachers are average-some are better than others. The programs that aren't nursing, education, PT, OT or Catholic studies are very poor or small. Math dept. Is literally 6 professors. Loved my advisor though and if you can get into the TRIO program there are great scholarships.
Overall 1.8
Umary is a place where everyone is the same. Diversity here is equivalent to the early 2000s. They claim inclusivity but if youre not a hardcore catholic whos always happy and full of energy, you wont be included and you wont make real friends. People are nice enough but if youre not the exact type that fits the mold there is no way to thrive.
Overall 1.8
The campus itself is outdated and lacks any type of beautification, although they are making efforts to renovate with vision 2030. The culture of UMary is very conservative and they do not celebrate or acknowledge diversity. There is no triangle club, or a safe place for people who are of different faiths or sexuality.
Overall 1.8
First of all internet is absolutely awful! Teachers are great and knowledgeable but the administration is poor and very hard to work with. Tuition is always going up and there are always new fees every year but there is not any campus improvement. There is little school spirit. Basically good academics and poor everything else.
