really pleased with this school!
Overall 5
I've attended 6 different colleges, including major universities, over my undergraduate career and UMHB was the most impactful thus far. It is so easy to meet people because it is a smaller school so you easily pass familiar faces! A biggie that sets this university apart: The professors can get to know individual students and want you to succeed.
Overall 4.7
I love being at this school. A lot of school spirit!! Everyone is so friendly here and staff always tries to help you out. This is a really safe school considering how small it is. Everyone always walks to class and its welcoming knowing you're in the right place.

UMHB is literally a huge family. The professors care about you and your passions. The students pretty much all know each other!
Overall 4.7
UMHB is easily the best University out there and I am thankful that many people have not yet discovered it. For the most part, everyone is welcoming and outgoing and the professors genuinely do care. The campus also looks identical to every postcard and picture. 10/10 would recommend.
Overall 4.6
UMHB is located in a small Texas town situated between Waco and Austin. Most of the students are local to central Texas and know the area. The campus is beautiful and easy to navigate. The student center has plenty of amenities including lounging areas, computers, a snack bar with sandwich shop, and the ability to print.

Everything I expected and more! Great professors, I love being a student here.
Overall 4.5
I would not want to be at any other school. I believe that the school is a perfect size because it gives you a chance to get to know almost everyone over 4 years because of all the events and traditions. Every event is welcoming and gives you a great experience. The campus is beautiful and has a great feeling of school spirit.
Overall 4.5
I have loved my time at UMHB. The campus is beautiful, and there are lots of opportunities for leadership. I think that is something that sets us apart. Literally everything on this campus is student led. I have had the opportunity to grow in leadership and get good experience working with others in both good and tough situations.

Beautiful campus, but that's all UMHB has to brag about. It takes a certain type of person to enjoy life here. Very tiny, conservative, school with little to be involved in. The majority of students go home on the weekends which is bizarre, since it is college after all. If you're willing to pay a private tuition, you're better off going to Baylor.
Overall 1.6
Please don’t go here if you want to have a good college experience. You will be miserable. It’s nearly impossible to transfer once you’re in. This school feels like a trap, half of the teachers are horrible, you will regret wasting your money here. It has a low graduation rate for a reason.
Overall 1.6
I am currently attending UMHB and I am unhappy here this school has the potential to be much better.

Poor communication from school
Overall 1.8
Honestly I wouldn't choose this school again. If you arnt an athlete or super involved in clubs the school doesn't care. Many of my professors do not teach very well meaning they simply read a PowerPoint to you and expect higher than they should. don't waste your time here! Go somewhere else!
