This place is the best. The professors are great, the students are awesome, and the food is perfect. I LOVE UMN-CROOKSTON!!!!!!!
Overall 4.6
This school has a lot of opportunity. When I began here I had just gotten over a major brain injury and they assisted me really well! Their online program allows me to learn while I travel the world! As for location; it's in the middle of nowhere. That may suit you! If you're looking for a ton of social clubs go to a big city! I love it!!!!
Overall 4.5
This school is fantastic if you want to go into agriculture, agriculture education, equestrian studies, or animal science. The facilities are good for the size of the school, and the food is good except for the salad bar.

AMAZING campus with amazing people. However, if you're looking for a party school this ain't it. The classes, professors, students, and campus are all ABSOLUTELY amazing.

Love this school! Small campus but you get a big ten degree. Everyone knows everyone. I'm happy with my decision to attend UMC!

I would not suggest this school to my worst enemy. The office people are rude and treat you like garbage and they boast "you're not just a number" but not an action taken by the university itself represents this. They dont care about their alumni or students, only money. The only thing I can say I enjoyed here was the natural resources department.

This school sucks in so many ways!stay away from it.
Overall 1.5
Overall this school is a great place to make life long friends, because the campus is so small. As a graduate though, this school will try anything to suck as much money out of you as possible. The Professors are ok outside of class settings, but they really need to teach their students. The quality of professors they have is very low, because many

I'm an online student in the ITM program. Put bluntly, this school is terrible. I will graduate in 1 year but must warn incoming students. The instructors don't know how to teach, especially online courses. You will receive little to no feedback on assignments. You will be paying for JUST a piece of paper. The advisory team is also unhelpful.
Overall 1.6
There are so many small town politics involved in this school. This University is resistant to change, creativity stifling, and baits students into attending based on lies and empty promises. If you want a quality education that is actually based on factual knowledge/expertise, and not under qualified has-been farmers opinions, go somewhere else.
Overall 1.7
Half of my class transferred out after the first year. Food is garbage. The spiel is about a small campus and a big degree, but the campus and community is a wasteland. If you are ready to accept the mediocre college experience, this university is for you. It's Highschool 2.0. Whatever your major is, there is better opportunity elsewhere.

I don't think I can sum up in 350 words about how much this school blows, but i'll give it a shot anyways. The food is TERRIBLE, no dariy cattle yet a 100 horses, printers never work, there is never anything to do, and it's like -50F year round. So if you enjoy isolation in a dorm room with thoughts of suicide this is probably the school for you.
Overall 1.8
PLEASE READ! This school is very conservative. For some reason religion is brought up in most of my classes (very odd). Certain professors will teach only on their opinion and will try really hard to make sure you think the way they do. A great school for people with conservative/religious background. Also, the campus/city is small. Nothing to do.

Crookston is a ghost town, there is nothing to do and no good restaurants or places to hang out except a few sleazy bars. The campus is disappointing compared to other U of M campuses. Not a fan overall
