Good reviews

Honestly, I don't think I could be happier anywhere else. UNLV is good, and with an excellent education, we get to live in Las Vegas, one of the world's most innovative and sustainable cities. I came to UNLV in 2021, and since then, I have discovered a second home. The diversity, the faculty, staff, and associates support my success as a student.

UNLV is a pretty great school, it challenges you and its just what Nevada needs to rank better in education
Overall 4.9
The school is in the heart of Las Vegas, it is constantly growing and makes everyone feel included. The programs are challenging and they care to see you succeed. The majority of professors are understanding and empathetic being that college is already hard enough. There is always room for growth but UNLV is on the right track.

Very diverse
Overall 4.8
Very good school that keeps getting better every semester. There are great support services, research programs, and opportunities during and after attendance. After I obtained my degree, I noticed that a lot of local business owner owners, managers, and decision makers have UNLV degrees. Great people!
Overall 4.7
UNLV is a great state school that provides limitless opportunities for those who seek them. The university is replete with great professors, the campus is a beautiful and is an officially designated arboretum for its thousands of trees. The school boasts plenty of brand new and state-of-the art buildings and facilities.
Overall 4.6
This is a great school where students will succeed, and there are numerous networking opportunities due to the location of the institution, and the general availability of networking events.
Overall 4.4
Great University. Top in diversity and plenty of resources/support.
Bad reviews
Overall 1
I feel UNLV is quite a bad place to get an education.
Overall 1
Good school if diversity is what you care about from a school.
Overall 1
If you are looking to get your moneys worth and get a decent education avoid UNLV at all costs.
Overall 1
In a terrible area of Las Vegas, predatory parking practice. Constantly people stealing. Class prices are inflated. Check the detailed bill and you'll see how much BS they charge you for.
Overall 1
They will steal your money when you transfer! Security is not safe!
Overall 1
This is a budget school. I transferred here from my prior university in Kansas and this has been the absolute worst performance of an attempt of higher education I have ever experienced. Your tuition just goes to rude, disrespectful faculty and I feel as if I have lost brain cells over the past 60 credit hours here. Pay the extra bucks and avoid.
Overall 1
School is in bad location, advisors have you take extra unnecessary classes, chairman and deans are unhelpful.
Overall 1
If you go to a community college for the first part of your education: get an associates degree from them before transferring to UNLV. They do not transfer most classes without a completed associates degree and possibly will set you back to the beginning of your college career like they did to me.
Overall 1
Graduation and getting your diploma are two different things to these people and they do not care to tell you unless you ask of until after you walk and try to request your diploma only to find you have almost 2 years left of credit to take. They are not trustworthy and academic advisors could do better at connecting with students, we pay them to.
Overall 1
The art teachers are excessively rude to people who have accommodations and are registered with the Disability Resource Center. Do not go here if you can help it.
