UNM is one of the best schools ever. Teachers are very understanding, professionals and helpful. Students are very friendly. UNM is a great place to study, grow and thrive.
Overall 4.7
Loved the campus and the atmosphere!

Great
Overall 4.5
You can make the best of any opportunity and UNM is a hidden gem at the intersection of a low price and a great education in a good area!
Overall 4.4
Overall, it's a wonderful university with a number of good professors.
Overall 4.4
For the price, you can not complain. Getting an education at UNM is a smart move financially and I think some of the professors here are great.
Overall 4.4
Overall great campus and good people around. Love this university!!
Overall 4.4
You get what you put into UNM. I was deeply unexcited about attending being from the ABQ area but I love it here. I adore my professors, I love the clubs I have joined, and I feel incredibly supported in my future endeavors. If you're not stupid about your safety you will be fine and having a busy campus helps make you feel safer.
Overall 4.3
This school is pretty good
Overall 4.2
UNM is a great school, very diverse with many cultured students and the clubs are very empowering to make friends and the traveling opportunities to study are highly encouraged and shown all over campus but the only flaw is where the school is located in a high crime rate area but UNM has safety precautions for students to their highest capacity!
Bad reviews

When I first started freshman year the tuition for a semester was 4k, now in the 5 years I have been going it is now 10k. I will be graduating this semester and I wish anyone the best of luck because it is 10k now so expect to to be 15k+ once you graduate! As long as people continue to support loan forgiveness and "free college tuition it will rise
Overall 1
This school promises all the above but doesn’t deliver anything, it fails on many levels, faculty, staff, building, services, safety, social, etc. If you want to have a good college experience don’t go there !!
Overall 1
If you’re thinking about going to UNM, please don’t, you will have the worst time to your life. Zero safety, zero maintenance, instructors don’t care, teaching just sucks in general.
Overall 1
Everyone there is so mean and loving
Overall 1.1
Worst school ever. Dangerous campus, terrible professors, Financial Aid office and Bursars office have no clue what they're doing, raised tuition every year, etc.
Overall 1.3
Schools location is in a rough area. Watch out sitting down at a bench on campus, you might get stabbed by a needle, or robbed.
Overall 1.3
UNM has a lot of work to increase safety, education, and add better food.
Overall 1.5
The location is great if you want your car constantly broken into. The campus facilities and classrooms are outdated and under equipped. The faculty are less concerned with student success/developing their skills and more concerned with what students can contribute to the grandeur of UNM. The university leadership is disconnected as well.
Overall 1.5
Money hungry. Always raising tuition, cutting scholarships, including the lottery. Not a good school. So glad I transferred to ASU.
Overall 1.6
School is very cheap on what they spend for students. The dorms are horrific, they have neutral bathrooms in some selected dorms, don't put any items in your car or else it WILL get broken into, bikes get stolen even with a bike lock, hardly any security in dorms (they do have student safety but eh), mediocre professors, and depression.
