School is what you make of it. If you want to learn this is an excellent location. Very few distractions that will demotivate students.

I love UNCP

Small school, but has a ridiculous amount of opportunities if you take advantage of them. Sports teams are pretty good. Cafeteria isn't terrible. Professors are cool if you aren't an A hole.

Worst of the worst of the worst . Located in the middle of nowhere. So alienated from the outside world. Feels like its coming to a different planet or realm. Primitive man and caveman sort of a setting. Gosh wish this university can be moved to a town setting. You come here you get disconnected from the worldguaranteed!
Overall 1.2
This place sucks. The teachers suck, the classes suck, the organizations suck, and the sports suck.
Overall 1.3
I'm an out of state freshman here looking to transfer IMMEDIATELY after the spring semester, and I definitely won't be missing this place either. You literally have to pay for everything, tuition and fees may be cheap but they will make that money back in other ways. Extremely boring and outdated, and the residence halls suck along with the food.

This place is in the middle of nowhere. There are clubs on campus but they aren't really marketed very well. The professors are ok. Like every other teacher it depends who you get.The gym is terrible but apparently they just had a renovation. Too crowded not enough space between machines. Not enough food options on campus it gets old real quick.
Overall 1.6
The only reason I'm ok with this school is because I will never underate a college education. This school does not allow for creative thought due to the extent of test based classes even in liberal art courses where creative thought is SUPPOSED to grow. It saddens me that the education here only teaches you to pass a test.
Overall 1.6
There is never anything to do besides drink. Campus is dead because all the students are commuters.
Overall 1.7
Awful. If you are into living life like a total piece of shit then come to pembroke. Nothing more than lowlifes and drug dealers here. The people who love it are use to living life like this. Do not come to school here if you have any common use of manners.

if you have the option to go elsewhere, do it. please. do it for those of us that cannot leave at this point.
Overall 1.7
Do not go here if you want a big social college experience. Staff can't get anything done right or on time and professors, don't care about helping the students. I only met 3 professors my whole time here that actually cared about me and helping me.
