I love going to OU
Overall 5
OU is awesome! I was deciding between several schools and after touring all of them OU felt most like home, and it sure was! I am so glad I chose to come here. The lifestyle and aurora of Norman are amazing.

BEST UNIVERSITY EVER!!
Overall 4.9
I have seen some low reviews but these are 100% just a few bad personal experiences because overall OU is an amazing school. I agree that parking on campus has to be the worst part but everything else is great. Everyone here wants to help you succeed, advisors and teachers especially. The football games are SO fun the campus life is the best part.
Bad reviews

This school is really horrible, especially if you are trying to get your masters. For example, some of these programs have a test that will determine if you graduate or not, and they will only give you a few weeks notice of it. They also won’t provide any information of what it’ll be about, just that it will cover every class the past few years
Overall 1.2
Worst decision of my life! I have never seen such poor quality of professors. Students are nothing more than a number and a $$ amount. Professors do not care and they pride themselves in the large failure rate of students in their class. The ultimate goal is to make you retake and pay for the class as many times as you can!
Overall 1.9
Psychiatric evaluations have been closed since the summer. Mental health services are understaffed and not even free. Hardly any clubs. They do not even fully clean the dorms before you come. The math department was more rigorous at my community college, and the academic resources and class organization were way better. Can't wait to transfer! :)
Overall 1.9
I thought getting a biology degree here was a good idea because I heard good things about the research programs, but most of the professors here are beyond unorganized and definitely don't know how to teach us the material in a way we will retain it. All of my STEM classes have been way harder than they should be because I've had to teach myself.

This school has had some good things but overall has had some major bad things too. I just hope by my sophomore year it changes for the better.
