Good reviews
Overall 5
This school is amazing and the online programs are amazing! I know the MSN (Master's of Nursing) program is fantastic, and the professors are amazing - almost all of them have a DNP in nursing. It's one (6) week class at a time, so it makes it very manageable. Every assignment is due Monday & answer the discussion question on Thursday. Love it!

I am so very surprised at the reviews I see online. They say it's a "pay for degree" school, but I'm here to tell you it's not! At least the nursing program is not, as I'm getting my MSN in Leadership/Administration. The classes have not been easy or hard, just time consuming with information that IS VALUABLE to have in nursing.

UOP is one of the best schools I've attended.. excellent staff, and excellent learning environments..
Overall 4.5
I know UoPx has a not great reputation for some reason but I enjoy this school. The classes don't drag on, faculty are engaging, and I have learned so much. Academic counselors are nice and encouraging. Even the finance department is easy to work with and very helpful. I have no issues with the education I have received and the use of my GI bill.
Overall 4.5
This school s not for everyone, that said it is very much for me. I get a very flexible schedule working online, and there is a rigorous amount of coursework. You have to learn a subject quickly and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the topic at hand. I've been to a few local colleges, and hands down this has been the best yet.

They get it and you will pass even with a bad professor
Overall 4.5
I have been employed for over 20 years and am attending this online university to fulfill new state requirements. I have had a wonderful experience here. This university isn't for everyone & that's true of any school. Every single week I must complete a project AND work in my learning team. If you're willing to learn, you will at this university.

I'm basically stuck in this school as they have already taken my money and its to expensive to go to another school. they really don't teach at all they just show videos and that about it. there is no second chances on anything and the people who are assigned to help you get set up don't really know what they are doing either... DON'T GO HERE

There is a reason university of phoenix has been in so much legal trouble time and time again. I am a veteran who transferred over on the promise that this school specializes in working with veterans. It does not. If fact if you are a veteran you wont even get your full benefit from this school if you attend because they submit the paperwork funny.
Overall 1.1
As long as everything is status quo, you will be okay. If you have any questions or concerns at all, there is no way to address them or resolve them. I was very disappointed in this area. They are less like a university and more like a business.
Overall 1.2
I will not be back to Phoenix. The school started out well a few years ago and helped with any issues. However, they became much less helpful and I found myself waiting weeks to get a response from my academic counselor.

Joke each week you read and have to write a 200 word summary. near 5th week your put in groups and told you are going to do team project(programming). I ask how do they want it? java,c+? They respond that you do not have to make a program, you just have to write a paper and powerpt on how you would go about doing it.This is the same for all classes
