This is a great school!
Overall 4.5
If you are a student from Eastern Kentucky wanting to make a change in your hometown, this is the place to go. The campus is very small so you don't have to walk a lot and you will never meet a stranger. Food is good. Housing is moderate. Internet is stellar. Opportunities to advance your education are out of this world.
Overall 4.3
Upike is the most perfect school I could imagine myself in. The professors are amazing and incredibly kind and understanding. Since it is a smaller school, you get to know your professors very well and it's easy to make friends with them. There are so many opportunities at this university.

terrible professors...bad food..ignorant office employees

the administration at this school is terribly unhelpful. most students transfer out after 1 or 2 semesters. there is nothing to do on campus and the town is terrible. plus even for a small school the crime rate on campus is a lot bigger than what is put on the website. the dormitories are also full of black mold.

Please be aware that this is an open admissions university. If you have any real interest in learning, you will be sitting in a classroom full of students who don't have any real interest in learning. These students will occupy most of your professors' time. You will learn very little while being subjected to an often hostile environment.
