good

Pitt has a great urban campus feel. The social scene and vibe of the overall place are fantastic when comparing schools in the surrounding area. Advisors are on time and professors are overall very good. There are also many resources and free perks that come with being a Pitt student that I find useful and fun.

Wow this is not just some public university. The curriculum rivals that of the top private schools in the country. Math department is on another level With CMU being next door, it definitely helps boost this university ahead of other public schools. I dont regret my decision 1bit I feel I am being challenged in a way that prepares me for the future

good school
Overall 4.8
Great school. Have access to transportation to get you anywhere in Pittsburgh, tons of opportunities, clubs, etc to join. If you are a business major, I would recommend coming here!
Overall 4.8
In fact, I was somehow disappointed when I enrolled, as Pitt was my safest school. However, I can't explain how amazing the school is! I literally enjoy everyday there! Teachers were kind; we got good facilities; and the campus food tastes fine! I was thinking about transferring when enrolled, but now I decided that I will stay, as I'm lovin it?
Overall 4.8
As a transfer student, I am so thankful for Pitt; it has amazing programs and opportunities and I absolutely love it here.
Overall 4.7
Great people, classes, and culture. The food is... adequate, and the facilities compare extremely favorably.

This place sucks

After being here for two years, the stress from school makes you want to pull your hair out. Professors here does not care about your grades and want you to fail so you can keep paying for the school. Food here is as poor as it gets, I even found hair in my breakfast. weather here changes like your girl's mood during her period.
Overall 1.1
It's not worth it.
Overall 1.3
It ain't all it's cracked up to be... Go elsewhere, just not worth the money & sacrifice.
Overall 1.5
Waste of money and now we're paying the Chancellor $950K a year! IT'S NOT WORTH THE MONEY... If you can get accepted anywhere else GO.... Many students have no other alternative because their grades are so poor....
Overall 1.5
Overhyped and they don’t care about their students
Overall 1.5
Majority of the professors here does not want you to pass, makes classes extremely hard in every way possible. Food here is uneatable, sometimes I can even find hair in my food. Let along getting food poisoned before from their dining hall. Buildings here are old and dirty, sometimes you have to learn in classes without heater or ac
Overall 1.5
Meal plans is very expensive, cafe food sucks and makes everyone sick, the meanest cafeteria workers ever, room and board is very expensive, campus doesn't have much, gym always has machines closed, dinning dollars are a scam, and none of the staff care about you.
Overall 1.8
sense of community is lacking, the dining hall food is most inedible, there have been a lot of assaults that go unanswered on campus, and overall it’s just not as great as people make it out to be.
Overall 2
If you are here on your parents nickel and dime to party it's great!!! If you want skills for life it's a dump.... Save yourself the trouble and get into a real University.
