It's a nice university, small is all.
Overall 4.8
This university offers so many unique opportunities and a plethora of tradition. The chemistry department faculty would be the only thing I can think is wrong with this institution. But, besides that this is truly a special place. People here are super welcoming and friendly. There will almost never be an issue getting into any class you need.

If you go to Redlands, do the Johnston program. Just do it. You'll be so happy if you do. Unless you're racist, misogynistic, ultra-religiously conservative, or a bigot of any kind, you'll be welcomed with open arms and you'll have a tight knit community that loves to talk to one another as well as party. Also, I've yet to have a bad professor.
Overall 4.7
I absolutely loved this school. I think I only ever had 2 professors I didn't like, everyone else was incredibly accomplished and absolutely loved their jobs. This school makes you feel like you belong and you're constantly making new friends. I was always pushed to do better and with the help of my peers/professors, I always did. RAH RAH REDLANDS!
Overall 4.6
I love Redlands! Many people here have set standards for college and can be somewhat pretentious, but college is what you make of it. If you take a major you hate and don't join any clubs or put yourself out there, you aren't going to like it. But that's how life goes—you've got to get out of your comfort zone.

It's amazing here!
Overall 4.4
I am more happy here than I expected, and so glad I chose Redlands!

You will love it here. The students are friendly, the professors are engaging, and the staff really go above and beyond. The science program is phenomenal. Join the choir if you can!
Bad reviews

horrible school and professors. good if you don't want to take the gmat. they take anyone who will pay the tuition.
Overall 1.3
created an account to warn future students. classes are very difficult to get in to, 2/4 classes I took last semester didnt count for anything. food options VERY limited, no name brands, either undercooked or burnt 95% of the time. residence life is awful at responding and is no help plus don't care for safety. housing is so bad. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!
Overall 1.3
DO NOT GO HERE, worst experience fo my life. I posted my full and LONG review on Google.
Overall 1.4
the campus is nice but that's about the only thing going for it. social aspect is very boring, called deadlands. lots and lots of drama because you will know everything abt everyone. its just like high school with the social life too. not worth ur time or money I promise. also why are they watering the grass with chlorine??? oh and food is gross.
Overall 1.7
Freshman yr sucks. You are treated like high schoolers & not allowed in parties. I would trade my time here for Walmart flip flop. Greek life makes everything better if you find the right one for you. As far as education goes.. its hit or miss! Overpriced everything but they give everyone scholarships so you feel like ur saving money. Get out asap
Overall 1.7
The food failed health inspection. Nothing to do in Redlands. "Greek life" is great for some. Professors are usually fairly good. Friends can be great but hard to find. My car and dorm were broken into. Lots of homeless. No parties unless you're in Greek life. Athletes are neglected and coaches are horrible.
Overall 1.8
When you go on tour here don't be fooled by the quad and mountains. The faculty hate it here so they hate you by default. Overall understaffed and the "president" is a businesswoman who only cares about dollars not the students well being. Stick to a Cal State, It is cheaper and overall a better "college experience".
Overall 1.8
Just look elsewhere.
Overall 1.8
I started as a freshman here in August and I am transferring out at the end of the semester. My friends are the only thing worth staying for. The food is appalling and has made my roommate and I sick many times. The facilities and buildings are terrible and the internet sucks. It's hit or miss with the professors too. I'm ready to leave.
Overall 1.8
The only good thing was the professors and small classes. Everything else is terrible. Food is a joke. Finding friends is extremely difficult if your not in greek life or athletics. Athletes are neglected by coaches and facilities arent great. I transferred to a state school after 2 years at Redlands, haven't regretted it at all.
