love how big the campus is, its so pretty at night and when there is a sunset.
Overall 4.9
I'm late 20s and lived off campus w my husband. I had an easy time making friends. By my 4th semester I had an active social life.
Emporium is great: close by, good food. Love the Starbucks in engineering.
Advisors/professors were great. There isn't an opportunity to TA if youre not majoring in a bigger department so that sucked personally.
Overall 4.7
The best dorms are Eddy Hall, Wiley Hall, Garrahy Hall, and Brookside. Hillside is one of the better underclassmen dorms. Peets coffee has good food and drinks, the rams den is also good and has different options. For the dinning halls, if you like omelettes they are made right in front of you and they can also make quesadillas and sandwiches

Fun place to go to school, make sure to join a few clubs or join a fraternity

Love it. Go out and make friends!

I love URI. I think that it's very underrated. There is a ton of staff support and care for students. Where things aren't perfect, they are showing improvement in care in the matter. I'm a stem major and there is a billion opportunities to get involved in the area and have hands on work.

Great experience
Overall 4.5
Get out and go to events and sports games! They are fun! You will have any oppertunities to meet new people because the campus is a good size. Everything is more fun when you have people to spend time with

Awesome School nothing else to say
Overall 4.4
Not much diversity but a great state school, esp for CS and Engineering

I would highly recommend not going to this school. Most of the clubs are very cliquey and if you aren't already in the club it is very hard to fit in. The food makes me ill every time I eat it. Everybody goes home on the weekends because there's no parties/anything to do on campus. There is no nearby towns so there is nothing to do.
Overall 1.3
Uri sucks there is a housing crisis and they are making doubles triples yet they're building new greek houses left and right and mens sports teams have scooters to get to class yet I can count their wins on one hand and just got 100 mill from tax payers if youre not in greek life this school is not for you and the a major lack of diversity.

i hate it here! can't wait for it to be over
Overall 1.7
Honestly kind of sucks. It's on a hill so it's always colder than you'd expect, there's nothing to really do because it's kind of in the middle of nowhere. Most people know each other already because no one leaves RI. Food sucks for the most part. Unless in Greek life, there's no parties.
Overall 1.9
Safety school. But, disappointing, nonetheless. One dining hall open and brunch till 3 on weekends, remote location, with a 15 minute drive to the ocean, which is why anyone really decides to come here. If you aren't in Greek life or don't have your car, prepare to keep yourself very busy to distract yourself from the lack of social life.

So expensive

I truly do not have anything positive to say. Food is bad, and the housing is a nightmare (off campus: at least 1000 per student) DEAD on weekends. The whole area is catered to snowbirds, and everything is closed (Oct-May). No parties, no bars, no activities. Please do not waste an insane amount of money on this terrible school. It SUCKS

I thought I would have a good time at this school but I didn't. I wish I never enrolled here. im not a fan of greek life so I had nothing to do. it was so hard to meet people. the food was bad and i wasnt eating well. there was nothing close to do for fun around campus. I went home every weekend because there was nothing to do on the weekends.
