Student and Staff Numbers

  • Students: The total number of students enrolled at the University of St. Thomas is approximately 9,146
  • Undergraduates: The University of St. Thomas in Minnesota has approximately 5,712 to 9,146 undergraduate and graduate students combined, with the specific number for undergraduate students being around 5,712. However, the total student body includes both undergraduate and graduate students, so the exact number of only undergraduate students is not explicitly stated in the sources provided. For a more precise answer based on the given data: - **Undergraduate students:** Approximately 5,712. If you need a more detailed breakdown, it is best to refer to the specific categories mentioned in the sources
  • Postgraduates: The number of postgraduate students enrolled at University of St. Thomas is not explicitly stated in the provided sources. However, based on the total enrollment figures and the percentage of students enrolled in postgraduate programs, we can estimate the range. For the Minnesota campus: - Total enrollment in 2022: 9,025 students. - Postgraduate enrollment percentage: Approximately 60.1% of students are enrolled in Masters Level Degree programs. For the Texas campus: - Total enrollment in 2022: 3,588 students. - Postgraduate enrollment percentage: Approximately 59.2% of students are enrolled in Masters Level Degree programs. Given these percentages, we can estimate the number of postgraduate students as follows: - For the Minnesota campus: 9,025 * 0.601 ≈ 5,425 postgraduate students. - For the Texas campus: 3,588 * 0.592 ≈ 2,124 postgraduate students. However, since the exact number is not provided, and these are estimates based on percentages, it is best to say that the number of postgraduate students is approximately between 2,124 and 5,425. If you need a more precise answer, additional data would be required
  • Academic Staff: The exact number of academic staff at the University of St. Thomas is not provided in the sources. However, based on the information available, it appears to be a significant number, but a precise count is not given. Therefore, I can only provide an approximate range based on the faculty and staff listed in the directories. **Approximate Range: 100-200** academic staff. Please note that this is an estimate and not an exact count
  • Administrative Staff: The University of St. Thomas has a significant number of administrative staff, but the exact count is not provided in the sources. However, based on the detailed lists of administrative positions and staff members in the sources, it can be estimated that there are at least several hundred administrative staff members. For a more precise estimate, let's break down the sources: - **Source 1** lists various offices and services, but it does not provide a numerical count. - **Source 2** lists specific administrative staff members in the School of Education, totaling around 20-25 individuals. - **Source 3** lists numerous administrative positions across various departments, including Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Finance, and more, but it does not provide a cumulative count. - **Source 4** mentions senior staff in Student Affairs, totaling around 10-12 individuals. - **Source 5** lists the President's Cabinet and various other administrative roles, but it does not give a comprehensive count. Given these sources, it is reasonable to estimate that the University of St. Thomas has hundreds of administrative staff members, but a precise number is not available. Therefore, the range is approximately **200-500** administrative staff members. However, this is an approximation based on the available information

Great school with a very good reputation. Night life could be better but at the end of the day your a 10 minute Uber ride to the U of M if you want more nightlife. Campus is beautiful and well maintained. Professors are hit or miss but most of the time if you put in the effort you will get good grades. Great sense of community and school pride.

As a transfer student and experiencing other colleges, UST offers a really good education to its students. The profs that I have had are great and really push their students to grow instead of just have you go through the motions then give out a grade like some sort of educational factory pumping out degrees unlike some other colleges I know.

Good School
Overall 4.7
Great school in a good location. St Thomas has plenty of opportunities in all departments and a great post school job placement percentage. All my professors here have been wonderful and there are good places to study. The food is usually really good but I wish the dining halls were open past 8:30. Overall I love it here.

I love this school. Its my favorite
Overall 4.7
Amazing alumni network, accessible professors, ideal location, great access to public transportation, fun sports, great opportunities to experience the city for free (paid by UST), but there could be more fast food around here, nicer on campus living for upperclassmen, and they could spend more money on wifi.

I absolutely hate this school

The twin cities are amazing! St. thomas is nothing like them. Just search brady hall incident or ireland hall incident on the website. It happens every year and they say they'll fix it but it always happens again the next year. Take from that what you will about "campus culture"

A few comments about UST: - everyone leaves on the weekends. If you are unable to, you will be stuck there, sad and alone - if you go to the dining hall after 6:30 there's a fair chance there won't be any food left for you - homeless people broke into my dorm building and fought in the same hallway i lived in. UST did nothing transferred at sem
