A very underrated university in the DFW area. You get more value for your money compared to the other universities in DFW. At the end of the day University is what you make out of it !
Overall 5
The university has a good academic programs, professors are knowledgeable, good campus life, and diverse student population. Career services are also good, but the location may not be the best for some students. The campus itself is not as large or flashy as some other universities, but it has a good selection of facilities and resources.

Well with the parties and all its fun and having your own space being on your own time the resources the activities u get having several places to choose from to eat but can be stressful because I learned the hard way to study and just turn your work in on time but its kinda easy just cuz the fact they post all assignments first week so you can p

The campus is so beautiful and you have Humpty number of opportunities here. I think I have made the right choice!
Overall 4.8
UTA is a great commuter school. I really loved my undergrad experience so much that I returned to get my masters. Social life is great if you engage in clubs or even connect with students in your degree path.
Overall 4.8
I originally went to USC, which id never do again. I transfered to UTA last year when I moved to the TX from the Westcoast. I can honestly say UTA has the most consistent and caring staff; admissions counselors, instructors and field team. I'm finishing my MSW in social work and UTA compared to USC is far better in many ways. No regrets at all!

Great university
Overall 4.5
When people think of UTA they think of community college. You make college what it is. During my time here as a business student, I would involve myself with different clubs and organizations. That helped me made a lot of friends. UTA also provided internship and fulltime employment right out of college for me.
Overall 4.5
Lots of international and commuter students, which makes getting involved in organizations almost a requirement to get the best experience. A great school if you put in the effort to try to get involved. The best part is the abundance of support services.
Bad reviews

This school is absolutely awful. Professors are terrible.
Overall 1
UTA is truly a community college; extremely unsafe environment, as though someone is getting robbed, assaulted or shot every other week. Not worth it whatsoever.. the CAPPA professors are all from the area so don’t expect to learn much from outside the DFW area.
Overall 1
I can’t pinpoint why, but like the other review say, this school feel uncomfortable and conservative. It’s just the vibe
Overall 1
Lots of immature kids stuck in high school
Overall 1
UTA puts students last and only cares about getting money for their research programs. They openly discriminate against students based on race, take weeks to get back to you on anything billing related (if they do at all), and have some of the worst professors I've ever seen. Save yourself the headaches and go to a real university.
Overall 1.2
Its such a shame as to how this school has turned out. It has so much potential yet the administration continues to ignore all of the schools issues. Just ask any former student and current student, their complaints will be similar.
Overall 1.2
This university is very bad because it likes to hire very cheap non qualified professors with no moral values. It is racist corrupted university.
Overall 1.2
I came here my first year of college and hated it. There is a lot of rude people here. I was really depressed my first year here and developed social anxiety. Don't recommend it here unless you're a nursing major and don't care for a college experience.
Overall 1.3
I wouldn't recommend attending this school. It feels more like a community college, and the professors aren't any better. Save your money and look elsewhere
Overall 1.3
I was only at UTA for a year and I hated it. I was super depressed and the environment did not help at all. Arlington is a really boring city with not much to do and since it's such a big commuter school it was practically empty on the weekends. It was hard to make friends because the vibe was very much come to campus just for class then go home.
