Overall I have had an extremely wonderful experience in my time at UTPB so far. I feel I am learning a lot and my degree will benefit me in my career.

I am an online student and love it! I transferred here from a community college and the transition was very smooth. So far, I have had a great experience. The only problem I see is that it takes a while for accounting to get invoices ready. I believe I got mine only a week before classes started.

I graduated from UTPB in December of 2017. I was an online student. The teachers were great and the classes were interesting! I would definitely recommend this school as an online program. I got to visit the campus at graduation. It was beautiful.
Overall 4.5
An university which gives opportunities to have a good GPA and get in some big Texas universities like TTU UNT UTAustin UTD
Overall 4.4
Very nice small Campus. Good facilities and small class sizes help learn more effectively. Good resources for help.

great online programs
Overall 4.3
Underrated engineering/nursing school. Lots of opportunities upon graduating. Very easy to transfer to another UT school if the location doesn’t suit you. Though separate from the main campus, the Wagner Noel building is top tier for music in all of WTX.
Overall 4.3
Great place to work your way through school. Lots of job opportunities before and after graduarion
Overall 4.2
UTPB is a small campus, but one of the best small campuses I have ever seen. The class sizes are nice and small. More opportunities to talk to your professors. While being a small campus it does sometimes have limitations such as some classes only being offered one semester and some clubs are small. However, UTPB is getting better over the years.

So many people are moving to this area for work, but it's also a great area for working adults to get a great business education while earning top rates. There are various opportunities for work/internships. The business classes are convenient for working adults, and the professors work with you. They also help you find amazing jobs. Great school!

pls dont go, imma kill my self.

I'm here for a summer course and I regret enrolling. Because of budget cuts, the administration refuses to allow temperatures in classrooms to descend below 80 degrees and forbids plugging in electric fans. The bookstore routinely robs students and don't comply with their own return policy. Classes are a joke, I learned all this stuff in 8th grade.
Overall 1.4
The teachers are hit and miss, financial aid office and my advisor were clueless, and there are constant online system problems for distance learning students. The best way I can describe utpb is, "you get what you pay for". I graduate in May and am leaving this school for West Texas A&M for my MBA. I'm completely over utpb.
Overall 1.5
Professors are harsh and unwilling to work with students. Egotistical and difficult to understand. All staffs (financial aid, advisors, registrar, etc) are next to morons that cannot do a simple job correctly. Go elsewhere!!!!
Overall 1.6
None.
Overall 1.6
The morale on campus is low due to budget cuts imposed by the State and UT System. Faculty that leave are not being replaced. And the best teachers are not rewarded, so of course, they are the first to go. The school bills itself as a small institution where you get a lot of attention from the faculty, but it is not the case any longer.
Overall 1.7
This school is just for people who live here, not a place you want to move to to go to school unless you get a big scholarship for sports or somehting.
Overall 1.7
If you're wanting the college experience, don't come here. There's absolutely nothing to do around here and campus life is awful.Financial Aid has no idea what they are doing and don't allow for private loans, although I pay for college myself and don't make a lot of money. There a few great professors, but that's about it.Def not worth the money.
Overall 1.9
UTPB needs a lot of work. It's apparent that the school overall doesn't care about the students. There are many professors that need to go. Most of the classes teach outdated material.
Overall 2
Be prepared for the most garbage accounting office on the planet. Someone very incompetent works there, you'll get a refund, inquire about it and get little response. a few months later you'll get slated with a huge bill that comes from their inability to add or subtract. Mediocre professors all around and stay away from West Texas.
