University of Virginia College at Wise

UVa-Wise is rural, but also nearby many charming towns and within a few hours of larger cities like Bristol or Johnson City. New features, such as a larger library, Starbucks, Chick-fil-a, and new health care clinic shows that the campus is growing. There are many clubs and friendly faculty! There are also plenty of options to live off campus.

Although the location is not the best, this is a very good school. The professors are great, people here are nice. They also have tons of financial aid and scholarships for students, and some facilities (i.e. Canvas, emails, online library) are shared with the UVA, Charlottesville.

Great school for most majors, also great opportunities to transfer to UVA main campus in charlottesville. Good for outdoors people, great hiking and scenic locations near by. Incredibly safe campus and surrounding area.

Very distinguished College and graduate with a prestigious UVA degree. This place has similarities to the Main campus in Charlottesville. We have the same president as the Charlottesville campus and have many opportunities.

Great school and campus, rural community, but overall great people

UVA Wise offers opportunities for those who are willing to make them. It is a small school, but it offers a lot more than what you might expect. The professors are genuine and the truly care about students. All have an open door policy and are easy to access. Wise has an amazing campus with great facilities. The facilities are up to date as well.

The school is great especially if you are science field.

This is the only branch of The University of Virginia. We have all the resources of UVa but still a small campus. Perhaps one of the best colleges to get your BA/BS/BFA. Another really great this is that tuition is cheap but the school has tons of cash because its still part of Uva.
