very nice campus and offers so many resources for students to succeed
Overall 5
I have had nothing but positive experiences all around! Everything from the professors, curriculum, faculty, advisors, student employees, online communications, and student involvement on campus is above and beyond! I'm proud to be part of UWG.

After I graduated from West Georgia, I felt confident and totally prepared to enter into my field.

Great southern atmosphere with friendly and helpful students and staff.
Overall 4.6
Transferred here and honestly I feel like they set students up for success. My best years were at the college of business. All the professors were amazing and there’s so many people there to help you get connected to
Overall 4.6
This school has a great atmosphere, Greek life, club selection, and dining halls. Campus is beautiful, and everything is easily accessible. I always feel safe on campus, and there is always school spirit throughout the year. GO WEST! GO WOLVES!

Words cannot describe how awful and dangerous this place is. Not only do you have to worry about a dangerous campus where professors have murdered their own students, but the administration uses intentionally vague wording to keep you there and prevent graduations. You will complete two full internships with no assistance, and you'll like it.

Definitely would not recommend graduate school at UWG. The area is boring. Administration and faculty preach one thing and practice another. Don't waste your time here, there are much better schools in Georgia.
Overall 1.2
if you're coming for anything OTHER THAN STEM, it might be an okay school. the computer science program is disorganized and teaches concepts that aren't useful in an actual job (like writing programs in a dated language or a language that isn't used as often nowadays, like vue). this school only cares about money and keeping you stuck here.
Overall 1.2
I do not recommend attending this school what so ever! They make it hard for you once you get closer to graduation and they have no compassion for their students. If I wasn't graduating this semester I would transfer because this school does not live up to the hype and its sad considering all the funding they receive. absolute trash
Overall 1.4
Such a terrible university. I have been utterly miserable ever since I have been in this college. I have had so many problems with it to the point I won't even recommend it to anyone. Dorms are ridiculously expensive. Education is horrible. The professors here are bad at teaching. Parking is difficult. These different departments can't answer thei

Do yourself a favor and go to a more credible school. There's no reason to come here unless you're pursuing a nursing degree.
Overall 1.6
Zero job/intern opportunity help and some of the worst professors I've ever had. Every semester someone is either killed by a professor, or SA'd in their rundown mold covered room. I cannot describe how awful this college is in 350 words. Stay FAR FAR away from this death trap!!!
Overall 1.6
Visit to campus was phenomenal. Students were friendly. Good thing I didn’t stay just to learned that mentors talk students to leaving relationships to achieve their academics.
Overall 1.6
I've had problems since the first day. Their communication is awful, you'll spend hours on the phone and never get the right answer. Their advisors are a joke and caused me to take classes I didn't need and then told me I had more to take after we had already figured out graduation. Costs almost as much as the bigger, better universities. STAY AWAY

I guess this used to be a pretty good school, but it's not what's shown in brochures. All money is going to a few secret high up administrators that nobody can reach and the teachers complain. Somebody like a governor needs to come in and completely, totally change things here. My parents both went here and have finally agreed to let me transfer.
