great place to learn
Overall 4.7
I went to the U of M at first, and it was brutal. Too big and not personal. U of W is way friiendlier and you can actually get to know your profs. A way better education too.

Great place to learn
Overall 4.5
I’ve never had any issues as far as safety goes, downtown is generally unkempt but I’ve never felt scared to be in the area. There’s always lots of people around. It’s extremely accessible via transit and Loads of parking everywhere. The professors are extremely brilliant, and teach with high enthusiasm and passion. Happy to attend!

It's a great university!
Overall 4.2
I really enjoyed my first year here and although there were a few incidents on campus, it is relatively safe because security does a good job.
Overall 4.2
With a doubt, this University has provided me with the skills, attitude and knowledge to enter the workforce.

Love the U of W! Very friendly, warm environment. Smaller class sizes make it easier to make friends and most of my professors have been very nice. The area is okay. YES it is downtown and yes there have been a few incidents, but I have never felt threatened or scared. I like how easy it is to bus here and we have some cool restaurants in the area.
Bad reviews
Overall 1
Bad location, unsafe, no easy parking, multiple incidents on campus, homeless in bus shacks, food is expensive, only benefit is smaller class sizes and lower tuition, as well as some good profs.
Overall 1.2
Bad location, very unsafe, many incidents, no easy parking, food is expensive, only benefit is cheaper tuition and smaller class sizes

If you enjoy being stabbed over a laptop, beat up for a cigarette butt, stalked to your car or robbed at knife point this is your dream school. :)
Overall 1.3
All profs are bad, terrible area, terrible school.
Overall 1.4
I absolutely despise this school, coming here changed my life and is the worst years i’ve had of my life so far. profs are so lazy here and would do anything not to teach. also might get stabbed on your way walking to class. i’m embarrassed to say i come to this school. just so plain inside as well. mine as well be in a hospital.
Overall 1.4
overall the professors do their jobs, and you get what you put in. the location sucks, the food is overpriced, and the campus is genuinely worse than a high school. A constant yellow-hued light in all classrooms and a scent that never goes away. the walls are peeling in most rooms aswell. This uni is basically the portage place of malls as a school
Overall 1.5
Bad location, bad & overpriced food with not many options. Parking is terrible. Never buy the park pass cause you aren't gonna be guaranteed a spot regardless. Small class sizes however which for sure has it's benefits,

not the best school to attend if you want safety and wanna have fun around campus.
Overall 1.7
I go to UofW because it's 5 minutes away from me and cheap. Overall decent profs, classes, facilities. Very sketchy area, you would never want to be here at night, study areas/ library/ cafeteria look like the 70s/80s. Although they are some tasty and cute restaurants/ cafes in the area. Not a place you will expand your social circle.
