Good reviews

They are very focused on natural resources and nature and openly welcome all people from the furry community! If you are a furry I would highly recommend this school, nearly everyone I’ve come across has a fursuit and they are so accepting. ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING ALLOWED on campus, I love UWSP!

Im so lucky to have the opportunity to be at this school and for this school to accept me. They have great professors, advisors, and overall staff. They have done excellent with maneuvering around Covid-19 and although I personally havent lived on campus yet, I look forward to when the pandemic is over because I LOVE the atmosphere!
Overall 5
I've had the best experience at UWSP throughout my 7 years of courses. Professors from all backgrounds are super helpful in and outside the classroom, they fully prepare you for whatever type of career you are looking for. Stevens Point has a lot to offer and is a wonderful campus to be a part of, I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.
Overall 4.9
Tons to do if you put in the work and go out and look for things to do. Professors for the most part are amazing and want to watch you succeed. While it has a nice college vibe, it's a focused school so if you're into a more vibrant and chaotic school like Madison, I'd go there other than here.
Overall 4.6
I love it here. Short walk around campus it is all together. Dorms are dorms. Everyone is super nice!
Overall 4.5
I LOVE UWSP! The food is great compared to other campuses. The DUC has a food court with pizza, wings, sushi, subs and macaroni and cheese. The professors are good, and the sense of community is real. There are many opportunities provided for you to expand your professional portfolio and get involved with things relating to your major.

I'm a sophomore this year, and I'm loving going here. The food is okay, the internet is amazing, and overall I feel very comfortable and safe on campus.
Overall 4.4
There are clubs for literally anything you're interested in, everyone is so nice, and if you're into forestry or wildlife, you'll fit right in. The wildlife community here is huge, and there are amazing clubs for you if you want experience with animals.
Overall 4.4
It is upsetting to see some of the reviews on here that there is nothing to do and it isn't a good school. I am assuming they mean offcampus/parties. They are usually smaller and not ragers. it is a smaller town. As far as on campus, there are many clubs and groups that work super hard to put on events and activities. A lot of them are really cool.

When you die you dont go to hell, you have to attend this school.
Overall 1.4
I transferred out of Stevens Point my first semester because I hated it so much. The dorms (specifically Pray-Sims) has not ben updated since the 1960's and it shows. Bathroom are always discussing even after it has been "cleaned". My first month in the dorms there was a drug bust at the Point Motel. Very unsafe campus.
Overall 1.6
Everyone at this school is weird in their own way (not good weird), food is bad, dorms are ancient and tiny, major suitcase school, nothing to do, like ever. Best of luck if you are from over an hour away because everyone already knows each other from high school, very cliquey. Could not transfer out fast enough.
Overall 1.6
This school honestly sucks there is nothing to do outside of campus. Stevens Point is only the campus and that's all. People only go to kiwi trip which is pathetic. Its so boring and everyone is so boring because they are all white WI people from small towns and they don't know anything about life.
Overall 1.8
Area is safe but extremely limited in things to do. Transfers beware, they couldn't care less about you. They have terrible advisors who don't know what they are doing. Dorms are moldy. The website works, but navigation is incredibly difficult. Attendance policies in the arts/music departments are crazy. Professors have a superiority complex.
