Best decision I made so far in life was to go to Stout, it wasn't my first choice it was actually my backup! So glad I ended up there, I still love visiting camps.

It's a good school. you'll be happy here!

The University of Wisconsin- Stout is an amazing college, if you are looking for a smaller college with lots of opportunities this is the place to come. Almost every program at the University is well known and reputable that you will not have any troubles trying to find an internship (including paid) and a career.
Overall 4.7
I love Stout and everybody here, this place is like home to me and Im only a junior here! The people are amazingly nice and from everywhere!
Overall 4.6
Menomonie, WI can sometimes feel Drab, But I promise its better than Platvile. I'm looking at you (possible engineering students) The Campus is really pretty compared to other UW schools Food Services are ranked 2nd in the UW-system (at the time this is written 2019/2020) Not a dry campus, Police aren't too strict with alcohol just don't be stupid
Overall 4.5
really good engineering school! An amazing job fair every semester for great opportunities. Really inexpensive tuition as well.
Overall 4.5
The opportunities at this campus are limitless. Stout prepares you for the job field and beyond. Smaller classes allow for the creation of student/professor relationships. The polytechnic attitude allows for fun, hands-on class experiences. Stout brings you beyond learning into creating. I highly recommend choosing to make Stout your home.
Overall 4.4
Everything is really nice. If you are an international student like me, this school is the perfect place for you. The international counselors take care everything so theres nothing confusing, and you will never feel lost and alone! Dorms are big and comfortable, the AR and ARC are friendly. Lots of food options. Full of events.

This school is unsafe. You will be assaulted and the school will make it known that it was your fault. This school lies and steals your money and purposely makes students take classes with nothing to do with their major, having no experience in the material JUST so you fail so they can get your money. Never go here. This place deserves to be closed
Overall 1.1
This college is surrounded by only bars. Police are unhelpful. There's literally nothing else to do around the area. The campus itself is completely worthless. They find any excuse they can to over charge you, adding "convenience" fees of $30 and up to any payment you have to make, as if you're not already paying tons to attend. Staff is rude.
Overall 1.2
When in doubt, go to Sout. Stout is a party school to cover up how awful the campus and academics are. The dorms and buildings are stains right out of the 70s. No one is happy here. Menomine is a poor depressing town in the middle of no where.
Overall 1.4
There are no opportunities provided by this school. Compared to other UW Campus, this one is the worst. The food is not good. Not a variety of options to choose from. Staff is kind. Location is not that good. So disappointed to have chosen this University for my graduate career.
Overall 1.6
This school used to be good, but the school feels so old and there is no community at this school anymore.
Overall 1.7
when in doubt, go to stout....
Overall 1.8
When in doubt, do not go to Stout. This school and town feels very old, run down, and there is nothing to do. People here are nice, but thats it. There is next to nothing to do, the few bars are all small town bars, and cops are everywhere so partying feels more like escaping from a prison. My and everyone's mental health is horrible, go elsewhere.
Overall 1.8
it is not clean in the dorms with stains everywhere and the air quality is horrible I've been sneezing since I got here two months ago and have blood in my snot from it. the professors hand out too much homework without considering that theirs is not your only class.
Overall 1.9
Do not waste your best years here.
