Everyone is very helpful and nice

The school is well diversified, much has been said but you see students of the elite neighboring university filling up the classes for summer school, if its a bad school they wont come

Love the main Campus. Despite the age of some of the buildings, the campus still feels strong and vibrant. The student center on the main campus is inviting super casual. Only thing missing is the option of small, private (closed room) study rooms that would be available for most of the day.
Overall 4.2
Most of my professors have been excellent, and some are outstanding. I can't imagine having a better professor for some of my classes than I have had.
The admin side is a mess, easy to slip through the cracks, hard to find help. Some student advisors are difficult to get a response from, although I'm sure it depends on what program you are in.
Overall 4
Good opportunities and a cheaper option. A small but fun school.
Bad reviews

This place has lot's of potential, being located in DC and all. As a graduate of UDC, I can say that the administration and the faculty are holding this University back. Corruption (of all varieties) continues to be a big problem at UDC. Faculty members are insincere, administrators simply collect a paycheck. The students have little say.. very DC.

This school is the worst school. They did not except me because I was an international student.

Went to the law school, transfered. Has a terrible rep, people can't get jobs after graduate. Profs are substandard. Pressure to be a "progressive" liberal is unreal, if u don't subscribe to the prescribed world view or state an idea/opinion that is different from the party line, well, chances are you will not graduate. Miserable place

Annoying federal loan eater
Overall 1.3
Staff and professors rude, careless and incompetent. Seconds away from losing accreditation imagine. students are generally terrible and almost as bad as the Wilson high school kids cramped on this pathetic five building campus. Tuition is not cheap if you consider you're paying for nothing. Really sad.

Admin offices here are unprofessional. I was put on hold for an hour during the first week. One registrar will leave for the day when her lunch break starts and the other barely shows up. They didn't let me pay DC resident or metro area tuition even though I have a Virginia license and I've been doing my taxes/living in DC for years.
Overall 1.5
It's a concrete slab in a great part of DC. Classrooms are technologically current and nice, but academic prestige lacks severely. The administration is woefully inefficient. I suspect no one has ever felt the feeling they were "surrounded by great minds" at UDC, though it is a common feeling, to varying degrees, in most places of higher learning.
Overall 1.5
This school is for those of us sadly too poor to afford other schools. They are so backwards here the greatest test isn't graduating but instead the sheer hurdle of getting through financial aid and admissions to be allowed to take classes. Don't come here if you can afford anywhere else.
