UIW!
Overall 4.8
LOVE LOVE LOVE this school! Everyone genuinely cares for the students, there are amazing scholarship opportunities, and an awesome social life.

This school has been my dream since I was a child. Although I don't care much for San Antonio, UIW and the area of Alamo Heights is the reason I've come to love living here. I absolutely love my campus and my professors, I honestly have yet to have a bad experience with anyone here.

LOVE IT
Overall 4.8
I love my campus and professors. The campus is beautiful and the professors really work with you and want you to succeed. At this school you are more than just a number or a bank account, they treat you like you're going to leave behind a legacy and be an important contribution to the world.
Overall 4.7
I am in the Adult Education Program and love the convenience of the classes, the staff, and the fact that it is covered by my Post 9/11 GI bill as full time. This is a great school and military friendly. I do not like coming to the IWHS for classes, but only because I have a long drive. The online courses are great too!
Overall 4.7
Never thought I would attend UIW, but now I can't imagine going anywhere else. I love that they have odd degrees but that's what really makes it fun and interesting, and the CHASS (my department) professors are so passionate and knowledgeable. Very diverse school, a lot of international students, wifi is pretty good, decent food, a million clubs.
Overall 4.5
The staff and professors are easy to work with and care about teaching, their subject matter, and the students. They offer online and in person courses that are either 8 or 16 weeks long. Decent location, parking can be challenging though. Lots of clubs, activities, events, diversity, and volunteer work available.

Don't go to this unacceptable school. Literally anywhere is better.

Always under construction, Never any parking even if you pay for permit, heavy trafficked area, expensive, few exceptional professors but many hard-to-work-with professors (so the "education" part does not equal the money you pay for it), they try to make things happen here but really everything is a social failure - definitely a social dessert!
Overall 2
It's a cool school but too separated. And the staff doesn't really care about you. There's a few employees that make up for it but the rest don't care. The staff at Marian and Hortencia hate their jobs and take it out on the students. The classes are a joke. I enjoyed my first semester but by the second semester I started realizing the negatives.
