Good reviews

This is a great, solid college, with professional instructors and many opportunities to do well. I took UT biology and chemistry, which I needed for transfer to UBC. So happy I did it there with small classes, and caring and understanding instructors that helped me get better grades with help and accessible resources, like the learning centre.

INSTRUCTORS ARE AMAZING!
Overall 4.5
Vancouver Community College was a great experience for me. I was starting university courses and wanted smaller classes than university, which is what you get and a much more personal experience. The teachers I had in first year UT courses were great, very caring and open, funny and professional and extremely helpful. I loved it.
Overall 4.2
I love this college. One of the best well-organised colleges in Vancouver, in my opinion. This college provides University transfer courses which is what I am taking and very easy going campus, nice and colorful and friendly people.

The staff both at VCC Downtown and Broadway are really knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I would definitely recommend this post secondary to anyone!

It is an established community college with mature programs. I took Computer Systems Technology degree there. The instructors are top notch, trying to prep you for work in industry. It is a challenging program.

The food is made by culinary students. Generally good, but a couple of times had me running to the bathroom. Nice library. Took the LPN program. The instructors are great, their experience and background is relevant to what they are teaching. Very supportive. High passing standards. The Nursing program has a long and good reputation. 50 years now.

Admin Assistant program at VCC is very stressful, intense, and has a very heavy work load. Instructor give students very low marks. Not supportive. Judgemental. Authoritative, dominating, demanding. Very stressful. A quality of teaching is very poor. Effects health, since there is no free time. Be ready always busy with assignments, exams. Not good

Saved for years to attend a post secondary school and obtain a education and was very disappointed with this institution. Lost what was for me, a lot of hard earned money and never received any employment opportunities.

this school is a stuck in the past

Choose a real school like langara instead
Overall 1.4
Only plus is cheaper than average tuition. There are some great instructors in some programs, like the Music department. It's in East Van, so there is lots of theft, drug users will sneak into the bathrooms to use etc. Some security guards are ok, but most don't care or know security protocols. Food in the cafe is expensive and terrible in quality.

They keep closing classes, this school is going downhill

this school is a gong sho 1240 of us failed the lpn program I was accused of inappropriate behaviour when I was doing blood pressure on the other students. Then I was hounded by dan Stevenson. i also ended up doing a lot of the other students work since they didn't know English or how to write a simple essay this program is a major gong show
