RN-MSN program is excellent! I highly recommend!

Had a great experience at Walden University! Out of 10 professors (graduate), I only had one repulsive one. I did learn a lot, and I felt that my money was invested well. The MS in Psychology program was intense!

Great online classes
Overall 4.6
Easy to follow enrollment. Helpful advisors, excellent professor feedback in most classes.
Do not expect an "easy" or "cheap" path to a PHD just because it is online. They will make you do the work because they are an accredited university.
Overall 4.6
This school provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to receive graduate degrees from home. Professors are knowledgeable and professional and I feel like my money was well spent. Will definitely recommend this pathway to my friends and family if they desire a graduate degree option from home.

In my final class of CMHC-general before starting internship. It has been amazing to get my counseling degree at home in my pjs. I haven't had one problem. available 24/7 for help. you do get what you put in. you can def get by without reading much so try to keep up on everything so you actually learn something. courseload is reasonable 4my program

By far the best school for grad school. I left Capella to come to Walden and I have not been disappointed at all. I absolutely love it here!
Bad reviews

Prepared to be bored out of your mind with this college. It is the same syllabus over and over &over again. Same schedule for every class for every quarter. Discussions and papers are the only thing that a student does in MS. If you like discussions and writing papers every week, this is the school for you. No interaction between instr and students

Walden is a proprietary college, a business. Its purpose is to make money. It's PhD Psychology Programs are not accredited by the America Psychological Association, so graduates would not qualify for licensing as a psychologists, or a university teachingresearch appointment. Its only purpose is to add PhD to my name at a great cost!

Avoid Walden University. It is not a University that is interested in the program development of the students but in their monetary situation.

If you’re looking for an MSN program run away.

This is an online school. The quality of the classes and professors varies greatly in the same department. The professors are enjoying their easy life and tend to grade more on APA form over content. In the field of education there is plenty of new information. In one class all the resources were over 5 years old. Teacher was also outdated!

Avoid this university at all costs!!!

Adaquite for a MS, horrible for a professional degree.
Overall 1.8
I fully regret my choice to attend Walden. The content taught is below the education I received for my Bachelors. I do not feel that I am learning anything at all here. The financial aid department is a joke, they change tuition a lot without warning so I have to pay more. A really bad school, even for an online school. Their degrees don't hold up.
Overall 1.9
The school is pretty decent just wished the faculty was more focused on academia then the salary they earn.
