Great professors, great inclusive environment and atmosphere. If you go to grad school, you'll miss WWC every day. Really special place.

Incredibly beautiful green campus
love the work program so much-- it's the main reason I'm here-- my crew is so meaningful to me and I've gained valuable experience from it
the WWC experience is what you make it
so many amazing queer people
trails are awesome
the college struggles a lot financially though and many buildings are in need of work

Please note that Ratemyprof averages quality + easiness which means that WWC ranks approx the same as the other two Unis I attended, though the quality and easiness #s are flipped. WWC has better quality profs than the other two by far.

Some call WWC a Hippie College. It is what people want it to be, it is everything. People can be who they are, no exceptions. It is an atmosphere of inclusiveness. It's a work college. So every student has a job on campus. It builds another kind of connection to the college and fellow students. The very best: The musicians everywhere on campus.

Attending this school was the high point of my life. I recommend it to anyone who will listen. Gorgeous location, amazing professors, and you'll make friends that will last a lifetime. Highly recommended!

That it is a great school for certain people. I met a lot of new people who I now consider very close friends; however, the education system here is not what I expected at all which is why I am transferring. It is great to give schools a chance and if you are looking for a new type of school then Wilson may be for you. You never know until you try.

clean toilets for free. that will teach you not to trust marketing about how progressive WWC is. pay over twice as much as a public school and earn a minimum wage "tuition credit" for your free labor. the garden is small and the cafeteria food corporate. the work program is a hierarchy that uses the high dropout rate as a pool of endless labor.
Overall 1.7
I went here my first year and hated it. It is a very specialized school for a very special type of person, and I didn't fit that type. just remember a close-minded liberal is just as bad as a close-minded conservative.
Overall 1.8
Transferred out after 2 years. First year I was publicly flamed for defending someone from provably false accusations of SA and received no help from staff, just "ignore them" meanwhile people are literally stalking me and friends around the school leaving threatening notes under our doors and harassing us online. friends few and far between. 1/10

WWC is a beautiful campus. It is a very unique place, but it is -very-unorganized. The students are nice, but hyper sensitive and politically aggressive to those who don't agree with them. The school lacks diversity. The dorms are disgusting. The food is appalling. You will fail if you can't balance work and class. WWC has NO money.
