Glad I decided to come to West Liberty. Best decision I could have made for myself
Overall 4.2
Sure, there are things that WLU could improve on, but it was the best decision for me to go there. I wouldn't trade my experience for anything.

West Liberty is purely what you make of it. Going there was the best decision I had ever made. I made the friends I will have for the rest of my life and memories that I wouldnt change for the world. West Liberty became a home. I got an amazing education that has already put me in the right direction for my future.

Unless youre going for dental hygiene or WLU is close to home I do not recommend. In the middle of nowhere, the closest store is about 10 miles away, roads are bad, constant construction, and more. business offices have no idea what theyre doing. food is absolutely horrible. no opportunities, clubs, entertainment-only good thing is the professors.
Overall 1.2
Go somewhere fun and enjoy college. WLU is not a fun school. Actually kinda depressing
Overall 1.3
School is boring. For thr price I pay shouldve went to west Virginia university
Overall 1.4
Do not do the Zoo Science Major. Maybe by 2025 the program will have its crap together but right now the major is a complete disaster. The major will get you nowhere, the on campus experience is garbage, the students gossip and are cruel. The only good part is having Joe Greathouse as an advisor and professor. The only animals are reptiles.
Overall 1.4
The people in Administration are not responsive to the problems of students.
Overall 1.8
The school's okay for anyone who doesn't want to go far away from home. Overall its not that great tho. Seriously, if you're just going for education its okay, but while your there its hard to have a good time. Parties are pretty lame. The morale is bad. Sporting events are boring and have a "who cares" kind of attitude. glad im transfering
Overall 1.8
If you love small towns then you'll like this school. However if don't DO NOT come here. I came here for sports but ended up hating it and I'll be transferring to a bigger school. There is nothing to do and everyone goes home on the weekends so campus is a ghost town.

Boring campus. Horrible food. Bad location.

If you are looking for a very small, quiet school, then West Liberty may be for you. But if you want an actual "college feel" and a larger environment, DO NOT go here. Poor location and many students leave every weekend. Okay education and clubs, but I did not enjoy the environment at all.
