WTAMU is a great schools, especially for transfer students, they have these articulation agreements and scholarships for transfer students which are very helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

West Texas A&M University is a FANTASTIC university, by far, one of the best in the country. If it were not for WTAMU, I would not be where I am today. I love my university. I hate to leave, but they prepared me for a bigger future, so I am moving on.

The agriculture department is one of the best in the country. The class sizes are small (100 at most) and are great for the students coming from smaller schools. The professors rule and are willing to help you with anything. The clubs are awesome because there is a club for every interest and every club has something going on at least once a week.

Stay away from the mass comm department if you're wanting to learn about video.

The CS department here is a joke.
Overall 1.4
WT is not a good school to choose for online education, they have show favoritism to students that are local and on campus in online courses.
Overall 1.5
Honestly, the worst decision of my life!
Overall 1.9
Wouldn't recommend WT, especially if you're in STEM. Only two of their engineering programs are ABET-accredited. If you have an Apple device, be prepared to use their guest wifi network all year. I feel like WT is falling apart and isn't worth your time or money.
Overall 2
I dont understand why anyone would come to Canyon Texas for a subpar education at a school comprised mostly of agriculture students. Lets also not forget that Randall county is the most republican county in the state of Texas. Canyon is such a tiny town that if you want to do anything youll need to drive into Amarillo.
Overall 2
The campus is isolated in canyon if you do not have a car you're SOL. Lots of religious orgs on campus and they come and knock on your door if you tell them you're not interested they harass you more. Ag department judges anyone who did not grow up on a ranch.

I have enjoyed my professors and colleagues here at WT. However, the business office and administrative services leave much to be desired. It seems as though every semester I had a struggle with administration. Furthermore, you have to be greenlighted (meet with an advisor) before you register EVERY semester, this seems juvenile to me.
