Great school with many resources(provide help with food, financial aid, and clothes). Amazing staff that are willing to help and a lot of social events that help you feel welcomed.
Overall 4.8
WVC is in a generally nice, rich area. I've felt welcomed as there are many opportunities and services that this school provides. I've felt nothing more than good atmospheric considerations and equitable services for everyone. The school has been very giving to its students both financially and academically.
Overall 4.8
West valley college has a beautiful campus with helpful counselors and amazing opportunities. If you are a new student you definitely will get help in a lot of financial aspects as long as you put in the work.

BEWARE FOLKS. IT'S YOUR GRADES, YOUR MONEY, AND YOUR TIME. DO WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU ONLY TO GET WHAT YOU NEED FROM THIS SCHOOL! GOOD LUCK!
Overall 1
West Valley High School is more like it. If you are an OLDER STUDENT over the age of 25 be ready to deal with some teachers that treat you like you're an under-age kid, regardless if you're an ACADEMICALLY good or bad student.
Overall 1
WVC IS A DISSERVICE! LIMITED CLASS OFFERINGS. Took an English Literature Class and I dropped it. I had to retake it at another school because WVC didn't offer it the next semester. 4 years later the class I dropped was finally being taught again. There are 2 BRITISH LITERATURE classes but you have to wait a year if you need to retake one of them.

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT Is worthless, unreliable, and incompetent. With the exception of a few counselors that are actually helpful, all you will get is disappointment and Bad advice. Use at Your Own Risk.
Overall 1.2
West Valley High School is more like it. If you are over 21 get ready to relive high school and feel alienated and dumb down. Watch out for CAMPUS POLICE they like to give out tickets and try to incriminate students who have disputes and disagreements with them. Know Your Rights. Just pass your classes and move on.
Overall 1.2
The counsellors here are horrible. You're better off going to a different school.
Overall 1.8
Semester system for those who don't like the quarter system. Campus looks nice, except the fact that people should stop leaving trash. What's bad about this school is that if you're an older student you'll feel like you're in high school again because of the mindset of students. Some teachers on the 1st week treat you like you're in high school.
Overall 2
Very meh campus. Lots of trees, natures, and rivers, but overall dull looking. cafeteria food seems nice (only good stuff are the pho and Chicken Tenders), but rest are meh. nice people, lots of video games geeks/nerds in the gaming center. The lack of outside nearby restaurants makes this a lot inferior to De Anza. decent classes, some are tough.
