WVU is an amazing school.

Great social life
Overall 5
I LOVE WVU. Everyone is friendly and there is always something to get involved in or activities to do. I see staff all over campus regularly and the food is delicious. High street is a great place to shop during the day and party at night. I feel safe on campus and at home.

I went to WVU for 4 years and had a fantastic time and learned great deal.

Amazing campus and people. Everyone is very welcoming and the college is also quite affordable compared to other options. 10/10

I loved my time at WVU. I met many lifetime friends here. The party atmosphere is only a problem if you let it be one and don't focus on school. Most of your profs are helpful. The social life is fantastic between sports, outdoor activities, and nightlife. You'll make many memories here just make sure they're good ones, so attend class and study
Overall 4.6
For anyone who claims WVU is too big has never experienced the best college and college town in America. There is always something to do and parties to go to. Even if u dont like to go out everyone finds their same group and yall will click. DONT PICK A SCHOOL UPON SIZE!!!! Itll only make you regret it and wonder what if..
Overall 4.6
Love it here. So many opportunities and tons of things to do.
Overall 4.6
I transferred to WVU as a sophomore this year. I was born and raised in WV, so I have always been a Mountaineer fan. Coming to this school has allowed me to succeed in many ways. My academics and social life are both better than ever. Everyone at this school is so helpful and welcoming. It really is a family here.

As a WVU alum it is pretty embarrassing when everyone asks "Hey isn't your alma mater crumbling?" One still stings from the Great Heather Bresch scandal and being reminded of WVU's leadership. But, if you were a WVU student in the 2000s/2010s you pretty much knew that the leadership was rapidly driving the university down.
Overall 1.2
I don't understand why people love WVU so much. I transferred from WVU after freshmen year because it was so horrible. Everyone focuses on partying, and that seems to be the only reason people go there. The library is horrible because the school only focuses on keeping the partying atmosphere. If you actually care about your money, do not go here.
Overall 1.4
Pretty sad when theres countless threads on social media about the schools title 9 and administration not helping students after assualts.
Overall 1.8
The school itself is constantly in some lawsuit or scandal that the administration fails to address. The school focuses more on nickel and diming students for as much as they can get. The location isn't great as there's not much in the area to do besides drink. The school has an awful reputation with it's frats, and drinking
Overall 2
Let's be honest, it's a party school not known for academics. The focus of most students here is to party. The campus has an F in safety according to national data. If you want to go to school to have a good time and party you chose the right place. To get a good degree from a respected institution, choose somewhere else
