amazing school, recommend for anyone looking to complete four year pre-reqs and save money and still get great schooling and good college experience

WCC is super underrated!! The faculty is so friendly and supportive and the professors are absolutely amazing. There are also a lot of great resources on campus for students - both academically and socially.
Overall 4.6
WCC is such a great place! Most of the professors there probably could be teaching graduate level classes at a university but choose to stay there because they love the class sizes and the students. I had a 95% wonderful experience with all of my professors. Just like anywhere, you will find people and instructors you will not mesh with.

An amazing Community College! I am from New England, and I can whole heatedly say that this CC is a billion times better than any on the east coast. I don't think students who complain from the area understand how nice it is. Staff is excellent, lots of activities for students, clean campus, assistance for just about everything! Very impressed!!!!
Overall 4.5
I think the poeple complaining about WCC have nothing to compare it too. WCC is a WONDERFUL school! I am from the east coast, the community colleges over there are a MILLION times worse! I am so impressed with WCC, it is a perfect little community college. Beautiful campus, great teachers, lots going on! So glad I decided to go here

Whatcom Community College is amazing! I am secure in my educational path while here; there is incredible support from all of the staff everywhere to get you to where you want to be in your learning.
Overall 4.4
My first year here and I love it! The learning commons is an amazing resource to study and work in, and the Orca cafe is delicious. Only gripe with it is that there's not too much variety, but enough to find something to eat. Wifi can be a bit spotty outside of Laidlaw and Learning Commons, especially in Cascade hall.
Overall 4.4
I wish it were a four-year college and I could just keep going until I got my degree. I recommend it for anyone a little scared starting out in college. The teachers, advisors, counselors, etc. are incredibly helpful. There are a couple of teachers that don't need to be teaching, but the majority are enthusiastic and personable. I Love it here!

Administration can be very unhelpful & unknowledgeable. Instructors with good ratings on this site are still pretty bad. Most just hand out As, and theyre undeserved. Every class has been so incredibly easy yet rife with busy work that isnt meaningful or condusive to really learning something new. I cannot wait to get to a university.
Overall 2
The adviser's are far from knowledgeable; I had an adviser sign me up for classes that I couldn't take without certain pre requisites and no one caught her error until 2 weeks prior to the quarter finishing, which ruined my entire quarter! Scholarships are limited, and the STEM teachers are just as distracted and unhelpful as university professors.
Overall 2
There are a very select few instructorsstaff who ACTUALLY care. If you find one of them, try to take more of their classes or see them often. Then there are the other 90% of the facultystaff who are some of the rudest and least helpful people I've ever met in my entire life. It's just a job to them and they could care less if you succeed or not.
