It is a small, liberal arts college. I am pleased with my decision to attend this fine institution.

Wonderful college.

It's a good college, definitely not a party school. The campus is beautiful and has a great energy. I love it here.

Whittier is filled with opportunities - you just have to be willing to take them and look for them. It's an amazing place and professors and students tend to be extremely nice and helpful.

At first it can be challenging in adjusting but either than that everyone loves and supports one another. There may be times where miscommunication show up. However if I had the chance to repeat my process again I would definitely choose Whittier College.
Bad reviews
Overall 0.9
This place isn't worth a tenth of the tuition they charge. The college itself is exactly like high school all over again and the diploma isn't worth anything in the real world. No one is proud of this school.
Overall 0.9
This is an awful place in every respect. I should have gone somewhere else.

You can get better education in junior high school. The violent crime that happens on the WC campus is outrageous & the so-called Campus Safety doesn't do anything to help the victims. At other schools with 10 times the student population than this one, the crime is a lot lower and their officers will help you if you're a victim.

This place is literally hell on Earth. Don't make the same mistake so many others have made by going to this college.

School is beyond the worst. Everyday regret about coming here creeps up. just horrible.

"Whittier College is a junior college." "Whittier College doesn't have anything to be proud of." "What were the founders thinking when they made the mascot the Poet?" If you're thinking of coming to this place for any reason, don't come here or else you'll be hearing these statements every day in the world outside of the WC bubble.
Overall 1.2
Over half my class transferred out 1st year. The classes & campus life were so boring & clique-ish. When I attended, freshmen were robbed at gun point since it is an open campus and the dorms are right off the street. Two girls in my class were assaulted, & I helped one report it & the campus officers were there worst ^ belittled her. Glad I left!
Overall 1.3
It is too overpriced, the housing is essentially tenements. The professors are sometimes worse than some community college professors. The only claim to fame seems to be that Nixon went here. The societies are a great way to keep the social status quo. Gossip and popularity contests seem to be the norm. It's highschool with ratty dorms and bad food
Overall 1.5
Whittier's biggest concern will always be to please their trustees and failing athletics department. Despite the fact that all students pay for the facilities and services on campus, they remain closed to those that do not jump through hoops for them. I am embarrassed to have graduated from here.
