Wilkes is a great school that has a lot of opportunities. The staff is friendly. I just wish they could have more online options.

This school was my top choice and I stand by it! The campus and staff are very welcoming and help hit the ground running when coming to college! It's like one big colonel family!
Overall 4.2
This school is great for any science majors. The food is usually good but you will miss your local areas home cooking. Professors are awesome and the academic advisers are awesome. If you are an engineer get ready for a workout and same with most majors but it will be all worth it in the end. On a final note they have a high price tag but good aid.

LOVE IT

I am really glad in my decision to go to Wilkes. I feel like I am a person. My professors really take the time to get to know me and they know my name. The campus is easily to get from one class to the next. There are many extracurricular activities and social events. Wilkes is an amazing university. The students are very friendly.
Overall 4
Wilkes is a great place where students can get involved and really become their own person. They stress helping their students and mentoring them so they are guaranteed to have a bright future. I'm not looking forward for my time at Wilkes to end.
Overall 4
Academic aspects are not easy by any means however, it is a private university. Definitely prepared me for going on to graduate school. The psychology program is amazing. Again, not easy but if you are willing to pay the high tuition you should expect to be challenged and informed in the process. Study and work hard and it is worth it.

I can't find anything good to say about this school. I went to nursing school here and I could never go back to this area/school. Extremely unsafe campus, unprofessional professors, expensive, miserable people, disgusting food, and professors that knew NOTHING. I would never recommend this school or this area to anyone! This place is the WORST!

Overall 1.3
This school is one of the most boring schools in history. The location is in the middle of nowhere of-course. The food is really bad too. There's no varaity, you'll be eating the same stuff everyday for the next 4 years. Classes are okay you get what you pay for, however there's no opportunitis for the seniors. Socially it's very dead.
Overall 1.4
Just try to avoid it.
Overall 1.7
Wilkes university is a bad one. My experience with the cafeteria is the worst. To be very honest, the food is very bad, the breakfasts have no variety and it has been the same for over 3 years. The food on weekends is pretty bad. The after-hours meals are just pizza, hamburgers, and fries and sometimes they put breakfast at 10 o'clock at night!
Overall 1.7
Wilkes has very few good points. Some professors are helpful and personable. But the math and chem departments are trash. They love to fail you. The finance department will never answer emails or phone calls. If you need help with your account in anyway, no one will help you. The staff, other than some professors, do not care about you. Avoid
Overall 1.8
Planning on leaving. If you're a business student, you are required to have an internship because they want to boost their job placement rate, but Wilkes doesn't have connections with any major firms. Clubs limited to specific majors, and many have underdeveloped programs. Surrounding area isn't very safe. Good for pharmacy, but not much else.
Overall 1.8
The internet is slow and down half the time. I actually lost weight my freshman year because the food is horrible. The teachers are awesome. There is nothing to do but get shot and mugged.
Overall 2
This school is in a fairly rough area. Many of the professors are friendly even the difficult ones. Science geared school. Very highschool like. Not too many activities. If you like to party you'll be alright. Not too many things to do in the area. Beautiful library. Awful food. Just boring and expensive.
Overall 2
Unless youre going for pharmacy, nursing etc, this school won't be so great for you. Most majors don't have what they need to compete. Scheduling issues are rampant.
