Going to Willamette is about being involved. Don't come to Willamette if your goal is to party your way through college and end up in a desk job. 100% chance of partaking in research. Tons of opportunities to gain internship experience with the capital and hospital on either side of the campus. Incredible professors across the board in STEM.

Great financial aide.

This is a haven of liberal and gay. For me that's awesome, but it's not for everyone. Salem is pretty dead, but there's a lot of fun stuff to do on campus.

Loved going here! It's on the smaller side so it was a change of pace but beautiful campus. Red brick. Giant trees that change colors in the fall. Very supportive! I had a great experience here. Also, the cafeteria has wonderful food. Compared to what I had at my other university for undergrad (I'm a grad student) it was gourmet fine dining.
Overall 4.3
Knew it wasn't a party school going in, which is very accurate. The sense of community is really good though and the food isn't all that bad plus it's healthy more often than not. Really gorgeous campus with so many resources. Professors are great in my experience and really easy to get in contact with.
Overall 4.3
For me it's the leadership opportunities that sets Willamette apart from other institutions of higher ed. While I've been at Willamette the Leadership positions I've held will easily set me apart from others Applying for the same jobs. Most things are entirely student led.
Overall 4.2
Not much night life - but for me that is perfect - and the professors are really oriented towards teaching - made great friends (even though I'm from out-of-state) and, although there is no AC in most of the dorms, the campus as a whole feels like a second home. Intensive lessons, but staying on top of your work will be worth it. Overall 4.8/5.0.

A very interesting and rigorous curriculum that makes me want to learn more and more. There is a very strong sense of community, where everyone is very friendly and respectful. I cannot imagine a better school than Willamette.

Overall 1.5
I have never been so disappointed in an education setting before. The professors are all fantastic, but even then, they cant teach properly without support from the school. They waste their money on social justice bullshit and limit a whole department to 4 professors instead of hiring more teachers. And don't even get me started on the registrar.
Overall 1.6
This school is miserable. If you like judgmental hipsters and are fine with giving up your own identity and personality to conform to PC culture then this is the place for you. If not dont make my mistake and dont come here.
Overall 1.7
Literally the worst location ever. Salem is disgusting and homeless people everywhere. Nothing on campus, not even a decent coffee shop for miles. Food is crazy expensive and crazy terrible.
Overall 1.7
I would never recommend this school to anyone. I would have gotten out but they made it too difficult to transfer credits. If you want any sort of a social life do not come here. Quiet hours on campus on weekends is 12...
Overall 1.8
A good school if you're interested in business or law... arts and humanities absolutely not. On the flip side, they have some of the best professors I have ever had in the A&H, but unfortunately the school has little care for funding all of its programs equally. Very entitled student body, they act like attending a private school makes them better.
Overall 1.8
I would not recommend this university ever. There are some quality professors and believe me it's not all bad. But not enough to make me happy with the mortgage sized tuition I'm paying. I also felt there were members of the school's admin that were hostile to small suggestions. Pride doesn't mean you can't take any heat. Bike thefts like crazy
Overall 2
Homeless population <1 block away from campus, campus safety isn't great, food's terrible, teachers are good mostly, dorms are eh, so are classrooms, Salem's pretty dead, student leadership isn't great either, the ducks and the Bistro are both cool. Not much of a party scene, and clubs are kinda dead too.
Overall 2
I wish I had never come to this law school. It wasn't diverse and I didn't feel welcome or safe.
