Thank you for magical memories Wingate!
Overall 4.5
There are not a lot of food options on campus; however, off campus, there is literally everything. The faculty is good for the most part. The financial aid and business office are not always happy to work with you. I can never get anyone to answer calls; therefore, I have to drive or walk to the business office just to get a short answer.

Great school. Just far enough off the beaten path, yet just close enough, in the fastest growing county in the state of NC. So many professional and semi-professional sports teams in the area allow students to have tremendous opportunities both before and after graduation.

Awesome school

Wingate is an outstanding private university. It offers a small school atmosphere and interactive campus life that provides the opportunity to grow academically and spiritually as well as develop close relationships with peers, faculty, and staff. Wingate has helped me to "Major in a Great Life!"
Overall 4.2
Wingate University is a great place and the psychology program is very good!
Overall 4.2
After being here for a year, Wingate has become home to me. The class sizes are tiny which makes it easy to get to know the wonderful professors. Making friends is also easy as long as you get involved. Some people complain about the food, but I think it's pretty great. The only problem I've had is getting in some of the classes with few seats.
Bad reviews

The living conditions suck for the amount, the food also sucks and the parties are lame and gets shut down as soon as it starts. There also isn't any type of security, there is a neighborhood on campus that allows locals to come on campus freely = alot of lockdowns= NO SAFETY. also terrible parking
Overall 1.1
This school sucks. The administration doesn't care about the students welfare. The location is awful, their systems are the worst. I can't find anything positive to say about my experience. Costs skyrocketed all four years here. The school doesn't help you with internships at all. Go somewhere else.
Overall 1.1
Go somewhere else. Campus is in the middle of no where. If you're not on a sports team good luck making friends. Everyone is very shut off and rude. Most of the residence halls have mold (had it on my ac vent) , and no one does anything about it. Average food, mostly rude dining staff. I would not recommend anyone attend, it drains happiness
Overall 1.3
This school thrives off the abundance of freshman they bring in each year. Thats it. The retention rate is hella low. Everyone is into cliques &have no real personalities besides whatever theyre associated with. Also this school pushes so much propaganda. Its definitely NOT a Christian school. Location is awful and crime ridden. Glad I left.
Overall 1.3
I'm transferring. So glad i'm getting out of here.
Overall 1.4
This school is old, boring, and just sucks overall. No social scene unless youre apart of a group. Literally no one will talk to you unless youre in sports or a sorority. Its whack. This school has a large amount of creeps, and people who have no place in higher education. Also the school, is definitely not Christian. Lots of brainwashing.
Overall 1.5
Train tracks go through campus, lockdowns for bank robberies, horrible food in cafe/no late night options
Overall 1.5
This school sucks. If you're not on a sports team you just don't belong. Being 45 mins outside of Charlotte is nice, but every day life consists of cornfields and nothingness. A semester at Wingate wouldn't be complete without some sort of lockdown due to near campus shootings or an on campus robbery. Food here sucks too
Overall 1.7
Wingate is not worth all the money they charge you. The school is a rip off. The only nice things are the buildings that are shown to the public like admissions but everything else like dorms are like prison cells. Going to this school will leave you traumatized. You will also be starving most days unless you enjoy eating the same food 24/7.

Get out while you can.
