It is a great college here in the valley, YVC has amazing opportunities for people who want to advance their career further! The extra help this college provides is really great as well. Thank you, YVC!

I absolutely love it here! So much better than High school. I love that I can take classes here even when Im in high school. The running start program is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!
Overall 4.4
I think this is a great place. I wish they had more things to do for Christians...like clubs, etc. Which I guess I could start if I wanted to. lol Good place, nice staff. They do have a variety of food like snacks and sandwiches. I don't know of any hot meals...not sure if they do that. They also have a very helpful food pantry.

yes, it is the best school to come to

A great school to start at!!!

It was the best school I ever attended. Sadly, I moved before finishing, but I will always love it. My happiest days were spent there. I wish I was back in Yakima so I could go there again. It spoiled me for any other college.
Overall 4
Very good instructors, they all seem to want everyone to succeed!

Worst school ever, biggest disappointment
Overall 1.1
Behind in implementing practices for effective education. So far behind
Overall 1.3
Nursing teachers at this school love criticizing students. They are not helpful or approachable.
Overall 1.3
Parking sucks - two paid motorcycle parking stalls for whole campus. This is from a place of higher education - with an engineering department! And that is the best they can come up with - 2 spots? And be prepared to have to teach some of the old outdated computer illiterate instructors how to use their technology over and over again.
Overall 1.4
Nothing went smoothly at the college. I consistently had issues contacting faculty and receiving responses.
Overall 1.5
This school is rather terrible if you ask me. The main office has very few staff members that are friendly. The financial aid office is only open three hours a day, and unless you get one of the few good ones, they'll mess your financial aid up. The professors could be better. Overall, I am not a fan of this school.
Overall 1.7
Not the best campus and youre virtually on your own as far as academics go. Some horrible math teachers
Overall 1.7
In down town Yakima sketchy area, not enough parking. Financial Aid is always making you jump through hoops more than other schools. Consistently changing things Books uniforms etc, expecting students to pay more for changes. Communication lacks and seems like the faculty waits till last minute to inform students and no one is on the same page!
Overall 1.9
Based on my experience, I highly discourage attending this college. I attended a while back for a program not available in my hometown. The commute was long and there weren’t enough dorms for students. When I needed to reach to school staff they were often unavailable and took days to reply back.
Overall 1.9
There's two campuses, not much to do on either. Parking is baaaaad in Yakima. School is ok, not great.
