This school has given me the opportunity to give myself a future worth being excited about. I have attended other colleges in other states and they are overpopulated. This school always seems to have the classes I need available, which teachers that have earned high ratings. I am happy to be furthering my education at YC.

Film program has been revamped and it's awesome! They offer Animation, Screenwriting and Production certificates.
Overall 4.3
The Yavapai College Verde Campus is amazing! The Cafe is run by culinary students and uses crops grown by the horticulture classes in the campus greenhouse. The food is incredible and at amazing prices. The campus has a small and comforting feel while still being updated with new buildings and study spots.
Overall 4.2
This is an above average community college. I can't speak for the other departments, but the science and art is extraordinary. The professors truly care about your success and go above and beyond if you need help. For those that feel it is anything less, they just don't want to work and aren't willing to try.

I am an older student - been to several universities over the years. YC has been by far the most positive experience. Wonderful teachers and staff. Beautiful campus and friendly environment. It is a jewel in beautiful Prescott, AZ.

Beware! 4 year colleges wont accept half of the courses given at this school and the advisors lie and tells you that they would. The school say that they offer an associates degree program in HIT but it is really a certificate program ... plus they do not prepare you for National exams. I am upset and bitterly disappointed.
Overall 1.5
Clarkdale Does not prepare you for a 4 Year schools because of low quality teachers live nearby and some no have degree Teachers with degrees are far away and you can't meet with them. Some older teachers let a student teach the class and that is not what I'm paying for i don't need a student without a degree "teaching" the class .

Only changed my degree once when first applying here. Teachers are always stressed and have no joy for teaching. Financial aid department unhelpful. Beware of transfer credits and being over otherwise you get an MTF! Does not handle transfer credits very well. Kept adding classes saying "required" even though weren't on my original degree plan.
