Overall 4.5
Great school and convenient locations
Overall 4.3
excellent community college to get your first two years out of the way with if that's your thing, mostly great teachers, easy to get scholarships, lovely campus
Overall 4.3
I was pleasantly surprised at well kept York Tech is. The teachers for the most part are professional and prepared and the classes are just like the ones offered at a 4 year institution.
Overall 4.2
York Tech is currently building a learning commons for students. The campus is located all around stores and food options. Teachers are really nice and really care about you; Student Ambassadors are a big help if you every need it. York Tech has great job placements rates for every program. You have to try in order to succeed. It's a great school!!

I really loved attending classes here, everything was set up in a way that I personally found very easy to learn from. Everything was super flexible as the structure of scheduling was made to allow anyone to pursue their degree regardless of their situation. I'm not very much for school spirit, but I am so happy and proud to have gone here!

Great school. 10/10 would come back.

It is not worth it. They barley have any programs and not enough electives all around. Please, please, please consider another college because I promise this will not get you where you need to be.
Overall 1.5
There are days when I just want to jump out in front of a car in the parking lot for the sake of making my day interesting. RH and YTC have the unique quality of being quite sketchy and still maintain a steady level of dullness. I can physically feel my IQ shrivel as I talk to Student Services, and my fridge is more organized then the book store.
Overall 1.7
Tech is pushing so hard to be a University but its really more of a community college! No one is help in J building (student services). I was debating on joining their Nursing program here, but the reputation precedes itsellf! Heard nothing but horrible things. They lose a lot of people and have a horrible completion rate.
Overall 1.7
Affordable tuition, and majority of the professors are good. I hate Rock Hill! the traffic to get to and from campus sucks and parking can be hard. I've only had one professor that i don't like, Krasniewski; but other then that, good. don't eat the food. Student Services and the Book Store are run by the most incompetent morons in the world.
Overall 1.8
easy classes, crappy campus

They are building a new commons area that will serve food which will be a major improvement to campus. The way required courses are set up is poorly thought out as it leaves large gaps between classes but at least you can use it to finish most if not all required class work during those breaks. The resources for transfer students are lacking.
Overall 2
The food overpriced, small portions & not very good & no other options within walking distance. Bookstore markup on supplies is ridiculous. They need more full-time teachers and tutors. The part-time teachers are great in the classroom but no place to meet after class hours . Classes are good though and respected for transferring to a 4 year school
Overall 2
Every department seems unorganized, and gives different answers. You have 1 week to drop a class once it's started. Old cement buildings. Nothing exciting about this campus. It's a come, learn (online), and leave campus. Blaahh.. I wish I would've gone somewhere else.

York Tech is an affordable option, but it's pretty much drive-through education; go to school, go home. There aren't very many opportunities to make friends or socialize here. I like all of my professors here except for one and I hardly ever have to do work outside of school hours. Easy and Cheap.
