I think you need to see for yourself but the school is solid, on a bigger academic scale it is reputable. Just know what you want.

It's great.

LAL department is great. They are supportive and easy to communicate. I am mature student and was worried that I will not fit. However, everyone in my class was wonderful and helpful.
Overall 4.4
They have well educated professors

Not Bad

I'd say York @ Keele probably has the best campus in Toronto, the other ones seem kind of depressing to me while York seems like a more futuristic modern type of campus because of their buildings and the food along Pond Rd. I have noticed that York is more academically focused compared to other schools tho like Western that just parties too much.
Overall 4
I love the campus, I love the people, the school is massive and hard to find some things. Everything I ate was great. I had good and bad professor and ta. It set me up for grad school so I can’t complain.

They have the worst accountability which causes them to underperform in various areas

Repugnant
Overall 1.3
This is the biggest joke of a university. I am finally graduating this year and could not be happier. Feels like the professors are trained to hate, torment, not care, and fail their students in any possible way so the school makes more money. York emails every other day with an assault or robbery and pledge inclusion but are hateful to minorities.
Overall 1.4
Other than the countless armed robberies and assaults, the broken school website and general lack of accountability from administration for their terrible policies and safety, the school has great faculty in Psychology with fantastic research opportunities to those who excel and reach out to improve their education.
Overall 1.6
Some of the worst professors.
Overall 1.8
Most professors are below average. They cannot teach well, you have to teach yourself mostly at this university.
