After transferring from Yukon College to UBC I felt completely overwhelmed. YC did little in terms of preparing me for further academic work. At YC I had a nearly perfect GPA, barely picking up any textbooks. I was told by faculty that YC is just as difficult as UBC, but that is untrue. It is easy to get good grades at YC but not a good education.
