For example, an educator might reflect on their teaching methods and how they can be improved to better meet the needs of the children in their care.

2. Peer Reflection: This involves reflecting on practices with colleagues. It encourages collaboration and shared learning. For example, a team of educators might reflect together on their collective practices and discuss ways to improve their service delivery.

3. Organizational Reflection: This involves reflecting on the practices of the entire organization. It encourages a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. For example, a childcare service might reflect on their policies and procedures, their relationships with families, and their use of resources, and identify ways to improve their overall service quality.

These types of reflection are not mutually exclusive and often overlap. They all contribute to a culture of reflective practice, which is key to continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery.
