This could transform educational research by encouraging more attention to the physical and material conditions of learning. For example, researchers might focus more on the role of classroom design, or the physical and digital tools that students use.

Challenging Hierarchies: Posthumanism often challenges traditional hierarchies and binaries, such as those between human/non-human, mind/body, or nature/culture. This could transform educational thought and practice by encouraging more inclusive, egalitarian approaches. For example, educators might be encouraged to consider the ways in which different students' experiences and identities intersect and interact, rather than treating students as isolated individuals.
