  3. Krebs Cycle: Each Acetyl CoA then enters the Krebs cycle. For each round of the Krebs cycle, one FADH2 and three NADH are produced. Since two Acetyl CoA molecules are produced per glucose, this means the Krebs cycle produces two FADH2 and six NADH per glucose.

So, in total, per glucose molecule, glycolysis and subsequent processes produce 2 (from glycolysis) + 2 (from transition reaction) + 6 (from Krebs cycle) = 10 NADH molecules and 2 FADH2 molecules. Therefore, a total of 12 electron carrier molecules are made per glucose put into glycolysis.
